State Senator Bill Seitz (R) is retiring.

Post by Brian D. »

Seitz has lately been embroiled in a "scandal" regarding remarks he made about a female colleague during..a political roast. I don't know how much that played into his decision.

He has been a pretty decent advocate for expanding gun rights during his service in Columbus.
Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!

Update: It seems that Seitz is only "retiring" so that he can start to collect his pension, then run again next time. Perhaps this also resets the clock against term limit restrictions, too?

So Bill will be a double dipper. I like him, but he was always a strange bird back in law school.
