First Financial Banks now posted

Just a note for information. First Financial Bank seems to have now posted there branches as CPZ's. Both branches in Middletown are posted. Signs went up in the last 60 days or so. This is the first time in the 14 years of Ohio CHL that these branches have been posted.

You might want to contact corporate and make sure they are aware and support the posting - sometimes branch managers take things upon themselves without clearing it with the home office. If corporate agrees with the posting, you have the choice of letting them know you'll move your accounts elsewhere and pass the word to your like-minded friends. That may have an effect - or it may not.

Received a reply from Corporate. The no gun policy is bank wide and "... considered to be in the best interest and safety of all clients, customers and banking center personnel.". No explanation as to why they are posting now after 14 years of not being posted.

They are also in the Southwest part of the state. I believe they are headquartered in either Hamilton or West Chester.

Guess the signs don't work. One of their branches was robbed last week and the news reports that the robber had a gun.
