This is where you can talk about all equipment issues; firearms, ammunition, magazines, care & repair, holsters, gun cases, etc.

Neither the Make Ready! Lite (v.1.4.2) or the Innovative Applications Shot Timer on my iPhone 5S (sorry, I'm not with it enough to upgrade to the latest! :P  ) will pick up dry-fire on my XDms, even in just my study, with no other ambient noises and the sensitivity turned all the way up.

I'll give the old Surefire one on my old iPhone 4S a try when I get a chance.

I can tune them to work reasonably well in indoor ranges as long as my two adjacent stalls are vacant.

I haven't tried my airsoft, though.

Anyone have any experience with them?
^ That's the one I was asking about, a couple of posts up from yours.

I've read reports that it's sensitive enough to pick up -only- your shots, indoors, even with adjacent stalls in-use.

Complaints (not just the reviews on the MidwayUSA product descriptions) seem to revolve around how easily scratched the item is.

I haven't found any free ones worth a damn....and I'm not going to spend $5 a pop to experiment and find out.

Free Shot Timer by Innovative Applications is what I'm using on an iPhone 5S and frankly... the dang thing works so well that I feel like I *should* pay them for it.

YMMV.
I like to swap brass... and I'm looking for .32 H&R Mag, .327 Fed Mag, .380 Auto and 10mm. If you have some and would like to swap for something else, send me a note!
