Experience with a Stevens 320 shotgun anyone?
Anyone have experience with one of these? I ran across a NIB 20 ga youth model on closeout for $160. If it proves reliable it will become a house/camping shotgun. My wife does not handle a 12ga well but is just fine with a 20ga.

I have no personal experience with any brand 20ga.. But most of the reviews I read from various sources spoke highly of the Steven's shotgun lines.
"Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home
Let me die in a pile of empty brass."
Amen

Re: Experience with a Stevens 320 shotgun anyone?
FWIW I took the shotgun to BW Conservation Club and shot a round of sporting clays this afternoon. 50 rounds may not be an extensive function test but the gun sat in my truck for 4 hours before shooting so it was a good cold weather test. Only glitches seemed to be operator error. Twice when racking the slide slowly preparing for the first shot the shell in the magazine tube ejected onto the ground. This never happened with the gun at my shoulder and never when racking the slide quickly. this is a youth model so I made a bushing from rubber to extent the length of pull from 12" to 14". Then extended it a little more with a slip on recoil pad. For my wife the 14" works well and for me the extra 3/4" seems to help. So anyway, there is a bunch of these on the auctions sites cheap so if you have a need for an inexpensive 20 ga pump now is your chance.
