CHL Application .pdf fillable and savable?

Post by davcar45 »

At one point there was a CHL application .pdf file floating around here that was fillable and you could save your information in it. I still have it but it is long out of date. Does anyone have the current application in fillable .pdf they can share? Much appreciated.

Found on the Ohio AG website...

Unless I'm missing something, that's not quite what the OP was looking for - yes, it is a PDF that can be printed and filled out, but it isn't a PDF that can be filled out on your computer and saved and printed, like the one Wayne County (and others) used to have on their website.

Gotcha. AFAIK....there are none unless some county took the state one and modified it. Prior to this year, each county had to make their own copying a sorta standard format. Now the AG is mandated to make it so I doubt any county would spend the time making their own.

Guys the one from before came from a member here who took the .pdf file from the AG web site, dropped it in Adobe and made the fillable form. Anyone can do it if you have a full version of Adobe Acrobat. I, like most other casual users have Adobe reader which allows us a to read but not modify a .pdf file.

I just tried this https://formswift.com/upload-pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and it seems to work pretty well. You can export it as a word document as well which is nice because you can then change it if you need to.

EDIT: Well, forget that ^^^^ They say it's free, then after you fill out the form they want credit card info for your free trial. Nope!

Did anyone try the files I uploaded above and see if they work for anyone other than me?

Just wondering if I have to make any changes. :?:

I didn't try every single field, but the ones I did try worked and the rest all looked correct.

Thank you.
