Flint Lock Shooters?

Post by fyrfytr310 »

I've always been interested in getting into the old tech. I've been eyeballing this for a couple days now. What would you all recommend to get started in this arena?

I would either hook up with the buck-skinners a the local club first, or head over to a shop that specializes in this arena..

Unfortunately The Log Cabin Shop in Lodi, OH is a bit of a haul for you..

Make time to attend the big muzzleloader matches in nearby Friendship Indiana next month if at all possible. Vendor areas have everything you'll need to get started and then some.

The event starts on a Saturday and runs until the end of the following weekend.

MWSY, I think Brian is talking about traders row at the National Matches. The flea market is a whole 'nother story.

Been to both many times.

Yes there is both the kind of flea market seen elsewhere, and also an area with vendors selling primitive weapons era stuff of all kinds.
