Hello, all. Unfortunately it rained today so I was forced to shoot indoors. I finally got a red dot sight, after a recommendation from another OFCC member, so muchas gracias :D ! The indoor range is limited to only 30 yards. I was shooting a hot barrel Wasr 10 AK, Wolf HP black box. Took me 30rd to sight the red dot in, and these other 2 targets are each 30rds on each target. I admit, I am NOT and excellent shooter and I am pretty blind, but for an amateur, I think I did OK, or shall I say the Bushnell TRS-25 did AWESOME! 8) . It held zero like a champ! It's mounted on a side rail mount from Midwest Industries. Any inaccuracy of the grouping is due to me needing MORE practice and not the fault of the sight  . This is no Eotech or Vortex, etc, but for $85 I paid for this NEW red dot sight, I am fully satisfied! 8) . If you were looking for a red dot for your AK, you have my thumbs up for this sight, it's a GREAT value! And when batteries die in a year or so, I can afford to pay $5 to replace it  . I'll take the money that I saved from not buying a $600 and use that to buy 3,000rds of ammo to play with  / No offense to my expensive red dot sight owners. I wouldn't necessarily trust this cheap sight in a combat situation, but for plinking purposes or hunting, it's awesome!

I can't wait to test the accuracy of this sight at 50-200 yards. Capable of 2-3MOA at 100-200yards, we shall see!! 8)

I have one on my Yugo M92 shorty and it works quite well. Never tried it at any real distance though. 100 yards was the most I tried it at.

Nice chootin BTW!

Thanks! Hopefully, this month I'll sight it in at 100 yards, then push it to 150, then 200 yards. . I'll be sure to follow up on how this setup performs at those distances.

Mind if I ask how much you paid? I'm looking for a decent red dot to use forward of the chamber.

You can tell me to shove off if you don't want to say.

If you go on Amazon, they are cheap, even better if you are Prime. Can't beat that TR25 for a cheap 1x, low rise, RDS. Risers from UTG can be had for cheap if you want to use it on an AR.

I like the Bushnell better than the Vortex SparQ- the power switch is harder to turn on accidentally, and the SparQ had the controls "bump" on the Left hand side of the body that partially obstructed the left eye - it would be OK if you were L handed and L eye dominant. The threads on the SparQ are very fine, so the battery cover and the screw on magnifier could be cross threaded if you are not careful.

The MI side rail will set you back about $110.

I paid I think about $88 on Ebay, brand new, in the box. And I lucked up, I got the camo one for that price :D . Check on Ebay or Amazon. Mine also had free shipping. Thus far, it seems like an awesome little red dot for the price. Eotech and Vortex are NICE, but for the price of one of them, I could buy 5 of these Bushnell TRS-25s. The dot's very visible and clear and it holds it zero. But I must say, I did get an email from Cheaperthandirt today advertising a Eotech, NEW in the box, 1 MOA for only $350, which is cheap for an Eotech, if you want to go that route.

I saw those. I just wanted a closed, never been opened, box. I always worry about buying Used electronics. For the price, I can't complain. Took it out to 100 yards this weekend. Best groups were 1.5-2" groups, all rounds were inside of the 9 ring or bullseyes. :P

Finally took it 100 yards. Took me quite a few rounds a lot sight in. After sighting in, almost everything In the 9 ring, best group 1.5 MOA. Now I need to practice ALOT with it  .

At 150yds, I shot very low, under estimated bullet drop and point of aim. A few good groups, but yes, i need alot more practice.

Wolf steel 124gr, benchrest, no bipod or bags, very hot barrel. The sight and rifle are better than me
