Went out for the first time this year. Very cool! Now I have justification for that 7 shot 686. :-)

Great day for an event. Cool with a brisk wind of the lake. Shot 4 relays and was heading home by 10:20. Am looking forward to the Labor Day weekend event.

I had a great time at the pop up shoot. My reloads ran well in the BHP's with no issues. I discovered just how perishable a skill marksmanship is. I was rusty. Scores in the low 30's. It was a beautiful cool morning. Camp Perry rocks. It was good to finally do some shooting with Whirlwind. We usually just punch and kick each-other, and fight with wooden knives. :D

Awesome time on the lake! Nice to see so many OFCCer's in attendance. Sad there were so few people there today, I could have stuck aorund 20 minutes and shot another relay if I had some help with revolvers.

My CZ85 ran well, but inexplicably choked on my reloads, having several failure to feeds. The load round nose bullets were getting stucvk on the ramp limiting my scores to 35 and 36 with the jams. My 1911's let me down, mostly because the battery on my Firepoint sight was dying, or just didn't want to work so I had to guess where to aim.

Good to see Muxtec, Whirlwind, DanDan and Mrs. DanDan, djmac and others. :)

I had a great time. My scores were nothing to brag about, but improved each relay. Not a bad first time out.
People say firearm owners are compensating for something.
I am compensating for being smaller and weaker than most criminals.

I shot my first 40 yay!

With an XD 9mm Tactical and stock sights. I even left the "tactical" light hanging off the front of it.

She shot my golden Glock best, for a 30/40. Her XD9 Service she did a 21 and a 19.

She shot the Glock in her 3rd and last round. Not sure if 3rd times a charm, Glock>XD, or she just was more comfortable with the scenario. This was her first pop up matches, and my 2nd.

I could'nt score a decent relay with my glock best score was 21 had to pick up the 1911 to shoot a 35. Well now that ammo is more available no excuse to not figure out how to shoot the glock .Nice to see you posting again dan. :D
