The forums have been hosted for some time now out of my pocket. We are coming up on the annual domain renewal for ohioccwforums.org and I pay roughly $20/month to keep the forums online. I do this to maintain the long-standing history of discussions here indexed in Google, and so that people have a place to discuss this topic outside of modern social media censorship. Schutzenfest 2014
A heads up to all the Ohio shooters. The 10th annual Schutzenfest event will be the weekend of May 3rd and 4th at the Sandusky Co. Sportsmans Club 3950 St. Rt. 600 in Gibsonburg, Oh. Fee is $15 for adults, active service men and women half price, and children under 12 are free. This is a bring any gun you have type event, i.e. milsurp, military, full auto, hunting rifle, pistol, shotgun, throwing axe, you name it. We have a handful of competitions from a 3 gun match, sniper match, and black powder and kids .22 . Cousino's firearms will be there renting some full auto fun (always a good time). Breakfast is available at the clubhouse on Saturday and sunday. Gates open at 07:00 and shooting starts at 10:00. Their will be a gun raffle, this year we have a matching K-31 Schmidt/Rhubin. T-shirt sales and a 50/50 raffle. Their will be grills provided to prepare lunch, and after the shoot on Saturday we will retire to the WoodedAcres campground for a pig roast and bonfire. I cannot express enough how much fun this event is, everyone who has ever attended has loved it, now it's your turn to find out. Hope to see you all there.
