Yeah...Akron.

Not sure why I keep fixating on Berea. I better go to that show. Maybe there is a lottery ticket on the ground waiting for me. :?

I'm awaiting Glenn to call me.

The door opens to the public (that's you folks who are not working the show) at 9am.
Set up is from 7-9am.
If you come in with me, your admission will be nadda.

I plan on going in @ 8am Sat. and seeing how the set up goes. I may go as late as 8:30 Sun.

I'm covered for Sat.
Glenn sounds like he's in for Sunday, but I could use another.

Carmen, pm me for my cell if you want. Your "handsomeness" may not do much to draw a crowd
(unless you're  freakishly  handsome)
, but perhaps you could fetch my lunch.

Seriously...I'd be happy to have you come down for a while.

I'd be happy to help you this weekend, if I wasn't freaking tied up watching the kids all weekend by myself. And, no, I won't be bringing my kids to a gun show to help babysit the booth...just too hard (although I gave it some thought).

But, hey, anyone else out there that wants to actually do a little bit to further our 2A rights in the State of Ohio? You know, get off the couch for three hours and stand around talking guns and liberty? Stop pontificiating on the forum and lend a hand? There should be a waiting list of people wanting to do this...... even if you aren't an OFCC member (rather than pay an annual due, get a bunch of other people to pay their dues...seems like karma to me).

With everything that is going on in this country today, I can't believe Jake doesn't have plenty of people willing to step up and do something. A couple of weekends ago, 1 out of every 150 people in the US went to DC to peaceablely protest, but we can't get 5 or 6 forum members to help out in recruiting? It';s time to step up, be counted and do just a little part to save your liberty. Start here.

Will we have a booth at the Niles, Ohio show Oct 34? If so, I can sit a for a few hours on the 3rd or at least watch the table while someone else wanders around looking for a bargain.

I need to sell a rifle first, but I'm free as soon as it sells.

Same with me...

I don't think anybody would be thrilled about an 11 month old chewing on the literature, or the 3 year old pretending to fire any handguns while hunting zombies. Although 8 children of various ages, many redheaded, would certainly draw people to the booth for a look.

Now if Ted had been home this weekend, it would be a different story. (It's the annual County Fire School. He may be in town, but I don't see him for longer than 10 minutes until Sunday late afternoon. Usually he buys me a steak dinner later in the week without children as amends....)

Jake, is anyone going to the Dalton Show in November?

I couldn't go Sunday (church) but I might be able to go for a while Saturday. Ted isn't working, but there's a gym meet for the girls. I could try to coordinate with Ted if you want a table staffed there.
