Jake:
Sherri wanted to know if you were bringing Beaty....
I have to swim out to the car and grab the gift for wrapping, but otherwise, we're set AFAIK.
(I finally got the Caddy back on the road, but it's not running right. Sherri's been trying to destroy my Lincoln since May.... For those thinking "rich guy, a Caddy and a Lincoln", the newest one is 14 years old....
)
Haven't heard from Morne, btw.
Regards,

Re: Youngstown Area Meet & Greet 12/21/13
Superb gathering, although I was hoping that Morne would show up to show off
....
Robert did a good job setting it up, etc., too, and, as usual, some nice door prizes.
I managed, too, to get some fuel into the car on the way home. Sherri was supposed to gas it up 'cause I didn't think that the Caddy would be useable. (Alan had some suggestions. I'm going to try to get my repair guy to take a quick look on Monday or Tuesday. There's a BIG V8 mounted transversely in there, and all the fun parts - the parts I have any idea how to work with - are hiding someplace. I've gone from changing plugs, points, condensers, oil, etc., to having some idea how to work the key....
)
Sherri, who's nickname is often "Mikey", as in the ancient cereal ad: "Mikey hates everything", also had a good time. I'm going to use the earplugs, though
....
Looking forward to doing it again....

Re: Youngstown Area Meet & Greet 12/21/13
Drove through a monsoon to get there. Had a great time with a great group of folks. Always nice to be able to meet the people behind the names and stories. Had some tasty food and went home with some really nice gifts. Looking forward to meeting up again. Thanks for organizing a very nice holiday get-together. Season's Greetings to everyone!
