Or, simply ask the "editor" to cut them out. If that "editor" is on the same "team", it shouldn't be a problem.

the "other" team has cams, too... they've had a week to stew about our cause in ultra-liberal heaven... thick skin and head on a swivel are two term that come to mind...

As long as we're careful about the implications of being a "team player." This forums hosts plenty of videos of police misconduct, and there is plenty of discussion of police seizing video recording devices, then asking their colleagues to cover for them, using a similar "team player" argument.pirateguy191 wrote:Or, simply ask the "editor" to cut them out. Police should be held accountable for their misconduct. We should not expect immunity from the same.

Also be aware that news media camera operators love to walk around holding their cameras at the hip as though they're "just carrying them." Make no mistake; those cameras are running. That's how they get all those nice close-ups of the guns on our hips. That's also why so many "investigative journalism" videos seem to be taken from a low angle. They are always recording, even when they're looking disinterested and don't appear to be pointing the camera at you.BriKuz wrote:the "other" team has cams, too... they've had a week to stew about our cause in ultra-liberal heaven... thick skin and head on a swivel are two term that come to mind...

I would disagree with that, per experience.
But to be more specific, Im referring to the "up close & personal one on one type of footage". Which is more than easy to stay away from, obviously.
I believe my God is sovereign, but man still has been given free will/freedom of choice..therefore my faith in God does not contradict my choice to carry firearms for self defense & protection.

When the camera becomes part of the story, the story is no longer real.

I'll be heading there myself, and I believe Mr J Slack will be in attendance also. I might be bringing the wife and kiddies. Depends on what they're up to.
I carry, because I care!

Re: Oberlin Park Open Carry Meet'n'Greet/Walk 9/7 & 9/15
Just something to think about - the anti's have had a week to ponder this whole thing. I would not be surprised to see them in considerable more force (and quite possibly much more strident) than last week. Everyone should absolutely bring their thickest skin - I fully expect insults to be flying quite freely and heavily. NOT trying to discourage anyone from attending, just trying to give fair warning...
Total repeal of ALL firearms/weapons laws at the local, state and federal levels. Period. Wipe the slate clean.
