Video!

YouTube appears to be still "processing" the higher resolution versions ... it seems to take forever for them to upload and "process" anything in 720p or higher.

Don't worry ... it's less than five minutes, and there are no close-ups of "scary guns" like the WOIO Channel 19 news video.

Looks like a near perfect non-event. Here's hoping next weekend's goes every bit as well.

I would not call it a "non-event." It was more than that. We probably did not change any minds on the underlying issue, but we did establish something. We established that we are not who they thought we were. We established that we are decent, reasonable and intelligent people who happen to have a point of view different from theirs. We established that we are not knee-jerk ideologues who can be dismissed out of hand.

Never underestimate the value of that.

By "non-event" I simply meant no one went to the hospital or jail, no animals were injured, flowers were not trampled...

Edit to add:
Y'all didn't trample any flowers, did ya?!?!

No flowers present for trampling. Animals received gentle adoration (see video). Tobacco use was scrupulously outside the 25-foot perimeter around the playground as dictated by the city's sign.

This was talked about on the radio news on WTAM tonight.

Also, here is the story from the Chronicle. We are on the front page of the print edition today.

I suspect the the opposition will be there in greater numbers next time.

I'll be there again, too. Also, I am a Big Government contributor and have submitted an article about the story. We will see if they publish it. :o
