Help OFCC at Medina Gun Show September 7/8 2013

Ok people, end of summer is around the corner and it's time to start up the gun shows again.
OFCC is looking for a few people to help man the OFCC table at the Medina Gun Show, in Medina city, on September 7th & 8th, at the Medina Co Fairgrounds Community Center.

I am the show leader and I will be there both days, and could use a couple of people each day to help out! It would be nice to have at least one or two other people at the table at all times to help spread the word about OFCC, hand out info, and take donations. That would give us plenty of help to rotate out for restroom & food breaks, as well as time to check out the vendors. And, as most of you already know, working the show gets you free admission. Last gun show, I noticed prices are starting to come down a bit so getting into the shows will get you first look before the crowds get in, should there be any good deals going on.

For those of you that have never worked a gun show, or other OFCC event, this is a great opportunity to meet & talk to like minded people, meet some of your fellow OFCC members, and help out an organization that has done a lot to improve our gun rights in Ohio.

If you would like to volunteer, post in this thread, or send me or djmac1964 (he is the show coordinator) a pm to let us know you can help.

And don't forget, for each day a person volunteers, djmac1964 will be putting your name in the bucket for a drawing to go to the next OFCC Fun n' Gun in 2014 for free. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed with the Fun n' Gun. It's definately an awesome trade off for donating some time at the gun shows.

Dude, I am so there on Saturday the 7th! I'll plan on being there 1/2 hour before the show opens, like last time, and I'll stay the day if nobody else volunteers to help out.

Anybody who happens to live near by and can spare the time on either Saturday or Sunday, you really should seriously consider coming and helping out. I wasn't sure what to expect but I had a great time at the last show, and if we had 3 or 4 people who could split up the time it would be even better - free admission to the show and a nice time to talk with other OFCC members and other like-minded individuals.

As far as I can tell right now, I should be there on Sun the 8th. Not sure yet if I am leaving from the campground, or from home. If it's from the campground, I may be an hour or so late.

i would love to help out. only problem is I never know if i have to work saturday and sunday until the end of the day on friday. So unfortunately i cant say yes or no right now. but if i dont work ill definately stop by and introduce myself and see if you guys need any help

My son and I had a great time helping Tom on Saturday - couldn't ask for a better guy to spend the day with!

Oh, and if you aren't helping out at a show near you, you don't know what you are missing! It is a great way to help out and give back to the Ohio gun rights community, and it is a great time to get together with and meet other OFCC members and just have fun!

See you guys next month. Medina show is Oct 12 & 13 so if anyone was thinking of wanting to help out, plan ahead and save those dates, come on out and have some fun even if it's just for a few hours.
