Yeah, but it may cost me money in the long run. Now my wife wants a Zlogonje holster.
How do you pronounce that?
I was seriously just getting ready to post that. It's pronounced just like it's spelled.

Most likely, in late May, early June. I will be getting the scheduling, invitations to various pols and door prize begging started in January. Next year is an election year, so we should have plenty of interesting speakers.

Only bad thing was from our organizational standpoint. At the last minute, the price of food went up $2 per head. The food was better this year, so it was worth it. OFCC has never tried to make this a profit making event (we tend to lose money on it overall), but we want it to be a quality event that everyone can enjoy. The only thing I was disappointed in was that I didn't get to meet as many people as I would have liked, but much of that was due to being involved with making things run. I wanted to get together with Tweed Ring, but really didn't get the chance. The same with Chuck.

We owe a lot to Kyle Hufford of Kyle's Gun Shop. He went above and beyond getting door prizes for us this year. Also, Gun Envy's display was interesting and fun and they deserve additional credit for running the NICS checks for us on the winners of the five guns.

For those who missed it, you missed a good one, but next years should be even better.

We had a great time today, like always
Even got some AMMO!

Good times with good friends can't be beat
And I particularly enjoy meeting new friends in person and putting faces to names.

I pronounce it "Z <mumble>" but I'm not sure that's correct.

This was the first PITP that my wife and I attended, and we will be back next year. Thanks to Gun Envy and Kyle's for the firearm donations and all the others who donated prizes. I really would have loved to win that GEAR rifle, maybe next year? :) It was cool to put some faces to screen names, and hang out with some good people. Thanks to everyone involved.

Unfortunately, since it was on a Sunday I couldn't attend but it sure sounds like it was a lot of fun. Hopefully it will be on a Saturday next year...

Forgot to thank the volunteers who put this together each year. Sorry.

Too much good food and too much sunny day. Thanks for all the heavy lifting for the annual gathering, and for what you do for us during the year.

I try not to but I'm forced once a year. Thankfully he donates to the door prizes :)

Contrary to a popular belief when I brag about OFCC accomplishments I'm not looking for your thank you or personal recognition. I'd much prefer you send me an email telling me when you are going to get involved in doing what I've been doing since 1999. We are only as effective as we make ourselves. We need the next generation of OFCC to step to the plate.

Is that you?

I just pronounce mine "another excellent piece of work by Dan" and let it go at that. :)

This was my first year and I have to say a good time was had by my whole family. My children even got to participate in drawing tickets for the raffle and enjoyed themselves. They even got some bubble guns. :)

I enjoyed meeting some of you for the first time and seeing some familiar faces as well. I'm looking forward to next year.

There was plenty of food to go around, but I felt a bit bad for the vegetarian that was across from me in line.

Couldn't have picked a better day, and as others have said, I think everyone walked away with something. :D

Thanks to everyone who donated door prizes!

I suppose it's a natural reaction to feel bad for someone who has chosen such a path. :P
I like to swap brass... and I'm looking for .32 H&R Mag, .327 Fed Mag, .380 Auto and 10mm. If you have some and would like to swap for something else, send me a note!

There were plenty of lettuce and tomato, onion slices to be fair.

And for that matter, woods and fields nearby to forge in. Not picking on anybody, veggie-eaters.

Yeah, the Mrs. Wasn't happy. I remember there being much less meat the year I attended. She dealt with it though, she's usually pretty good about tolerating it. She was just tired having worked C company the night before and not sleeping.
