Hi All,
Long time watcher of the forums and very rare poster. I am looking to get started in competitive pistol shooting, probably USPSA. I am completely new to this type of shooting, and while at first I certainly don't expect to be competitive and win matches, I am looking to have some fun, hone my marksmanship and practical skills, and meet great people. I am looking for advice in getting started. Where do the Northeast Ohio people practice for this type of match? Anyone want to get together for practice sometime? I would love to learn from the experiences of others here.

Re: Getting Started
I'm no expert, but Ashland Lake gun club does a great job putting on IDPA matches. Well worth the drive.
People say firearm owners are compensating for something.
I am compensating for being smaller and weaker than most criminals.

Re: Getting Started
I am a member down at ashland lake, and while I personally don't shoot idpa there, I know they do have a large group that does. All 5 pistol bays are full once a month for the shoots, and I hear nothing but good things about it.
