I believe my order processed correctly a month or so ago, however I may try my luck carrying in our newest concealed carry state that weekend. Okay, I won't be carrying in IL, but I may be up there visiting my dad so I'm not sure I'll be able to make the PITP. I won't know for sure until closer to the event; I'll offer my spot to someone else if i can't make it. I'll let Schmeig know if I do that.

Hope you can make it, Mark, but family comes first.

You can keep it unloaded in the console or glovebox while in Illinois.

My usual course of action when going home is to stop in Lake Village, IN and unload and lock up the gun; after that it is just a dozen miles to home. I reverse the process on my return. As I have noted before, if I am transiting IL on my way to MO, I will unload and gas up in Terre Haute and only stop in IL to let the dogs leave a deposit at the rest areas; I don't spend any money until I get to STL and reload, etc.

I posted a note about the PITP in the Ohio forum on opencarry.org.

Yes, I am proud of myself, and yes, I do want a cookie!

Look at the PITP banner on the main page. It should have a button to order tickets.
