The forums have been hosted for some time now out of my pocket. We are coming up on the annual domain renewal for ohioccwforums.org and I pay roughly $20/month to keep the forums online. I do this to maintain the long-standing history of discussions here indexed in Google, and so that people have a place to discuss this topic outside of modern social media censorship. If you enjoy the forums and you'd like to help offset the cost, please consider a venmo donation here
Want to talk about IDPA, IPSC, or other competition events you are involved in
or are interested in participating in? Want to know if anyone is going to a local gun show? Wondering when the next OFCC event is? All that and more is in this section!

Yup, it's now Five Guys (YUMMMMMMYYYYYYY!!!!!!) I think the only Cici's left is at Jungle Jims in Fairfield.
Any update on progress of this? I know we still have time but would love to have a date and/or location soon.

Anyone know what has happened to bearkitty? She apparently hasn't been on the forums since October 26 and she hasn't answered my last PM. We need to start moving this and, if she isn't going to do this, someone will have to take it over.

Doen't she travel for work? I'm not sure what she does.

Anything yet? I sent her a PM as well and haven't heard back.
If someone gives the word (aka date, time, location) I'll make the trip and book us the location. Well, I've got 6pm, just need a location and date. If concensus is just use Golden Corral then it's Mason area or Eastgate? Eastgate will let us do Sunday, Mason won't (no Friday, Saturday, or Sunday allowed.)

Mason would be closer for those from the north (and me, but that has nothing to do with it )

If you are willing to take this over, I'll give you a hand with the rest of the details. The 3rd is fine for me.

Not sure what the rest of the details would be, lol but can you (aka a Coordinator) send her an email before I "take it over?" Not sure how much different than a PM that may be but her and I went back and forth a bunch in PMs as well and she seemed to have alot "ready to go." If she happened to do anything I'd hate to walk in as well and look like an idiot.
I have a pretty crazy work schedule this coming week so I would either need to do the reservation Monday the 5th or the following week on the 12. Schmieg, if you think I should just take it over, let me know and I'll stop by this Monday and make a reservation for December 3 @ 6 pm at the Golden Corral just off I-71 and Mason Montgomery Rd.

Right now December 3 works for me. The only issue would be if I have to go to Ft Dix that week but I don't think they will be fully operational by then.

December 3, 2012 @ 6:00 pm (till 9) @ the Golden Corral on Mason Montgomery Rd.
For GPS users: 12090 MASON-MONTGOMERY RD, Cincinnati, OH, 45249. Exit 19 off I-71.
Those interested in attending let me know Yes or No and how many will be attending. I forgot to look at the prices, but it's around $11 for the buffet and $2 for a drink. Kids are welcome as always. There will be a raffle for all those attending with some nice prizes from a few local gun stores.
The more that attend the more we guarantee to have the room to ourselves. It holds 60 and we have priority on it however if we only fill to half capacity, then they may seat other guests there. I would prefer not to have that happen so the more the merrier. And what better than to see your fellow gun friends for the holiday season?
