^ You know, I talked to Preston later that day, after he'd gotten it fixed, but I completely cannot remember what it was....IIRC the fault was a true-mechanical one.

Doug said it was all the crap in there, he also adjusted the candy cane to help with the trigger pull.
Gun was also dry.

You should've gotten a Merit Patch for your supplies readiness, those days. :)

My range-bag has a lot of stuff (I pulled out a gunsmith's hammer for a classmate on TD01 of HE02), but definitely not enough to even come close to your portable workbench!

^ ROFL! Even my fingers are fat!!!! (Other notes: [1] Even with a compression shirt, I still have moobs! [2] I looked like a friggin' commercial for UnderArmour! )

 I took a look at Nino's website, pretty darned impressive! :D

----

More seriously:

Costa was right about my inconsistencies. My left elbow isn't locked out on that shot. It's possible (since the casing is in the air) that it broke off due to recoil, but I don't know. The other possibility is that the distance-to-target looks decently close, and I know I don't achieve full lock-out for shorter shots, where I don't need a precise sight-picture.

Regardless, it's something I want to work on.
