I am looking forward to this event. I shall be dragging along some politicians, and flying my colors.

I just bought our tickets so me and the wife should be there. We will have room for one from the Beavercreek area though our seating area is not exactly spacious, I wouldn't call it cramped just not escalade large. For those familiar we have a Pontiac Vibe. We just ask for some help on fuel.

I m trying to buy another ticket, but I cannot figure out how to do this on-line. Can I just please send $20.00 to someone who wears a suit?

The so-called store absolutely wanted nothing to do with one of my credit cards. Actually, it was the card I'd used for all previous purchases, so that threw me for a loop. Tried a different piece of plastic and my transaction sailed right thru.

What specific part of the buying is giving you fits? (I'm surely NOT they guy to solve any sort of difficult problem here but speak out and maybe another forumite will have a solution.)
Quit worrying, hide your gun well, shut up, and CARRY that handgun!

The site asks me to fill in some personal information, e.g. "personalization options" but there's no place to put the information. Since I hate this kind of computer stuff, I had a friend previously buy 4 tickets for me via the internet. If push comes to shove, I'll give my ticket to my friend.

Did I mention that I hate this kind of computer stuff?

TR, I bought a ticket for you. Simply show up and tell them you are "Tweed Ring". My gift to you.

If you are so inclined, you can "pass it on" by bringing a simple door prize donation to the event.

I sent you a PM with the order number.

Better to order tickets ahead of time if you are eating. If you want food the caterers need a rough head count before the event so they know how much chow to make and bring. If you're not eating, buying a ticket isn't needed. Only drawback to that is that the beverages are for the paid attendees, so BYO otherwise.

Schmieg will correct me if I'm getting any of this wrong, he's the picnic boss.

No need for correction. Only other reason for buying a ticket is the door prizes. We will sell tickets at the door if there aren't too many requesting that, but we can't do too many like that because of the food estimates.
