4473 for a laser purchase? Will I need one at PetSmart - oops don't go there, at local pet supplies store for a laser cat toy?

I find this funny - we have ones that propose no qualifications on gun purchased under the 2nd amendment, but restrictions on lasers?
Totally useless, waste of space, irrelevant, sig.

You, that make light of the situation, may want to give it some thought. Never really considered the possiblity until now. Except in the context of a confortation.
Have a laser on carry piece, so they are out there in great number as well as toys or pointers. If not a pointer dot on your person, you in a heap of trouble if situation were real.

Face - have you ever been to a vacation spot and attempt to enjoy the evening WITHOUT having lasers pointed at you non-stop? I would almost rather UN-RESTRICT fireworks than the pesky lasers. Not so much a 4473, but at least a responsible parent.

I would guess that a lot of it would depend on the situation. I am a high ranking political official, or for some other reason I think someone may be out to assassinate me I would be much more worried about it. However I don't think anyone is looking to take me out specifically and most thugs looking to steal you wallet aren't hanging out across the street with a laser pointer. On the other hand we had that crazy guy sniping drivers at random from his trunk. I guess if you dive out of you car and run for cover then you will at least give the kids a great laugh if its a false alarm!

Of Course, Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night too having heard what I was sure was the sound of someone breaking in my front window, and I think about going to investigate and decide I am just to tired and fall back asleep!

I would leave.

Sorry I don't have a more tactical/smacktical, high-speed-low-drag, gofast, Special Navy Recon Ranger answer for you.

Just leave.

[quote="OldMan TodI totally would have taken a tactical dive out the passenger side window then a running tactical dive into the ditch while flanking and calling for backup, hopefully the first responders would have their drop leg holsters filled to the brim with a reliable backup firearm.[/quote]

Do you practice that ? :)

I would go to the trunk of my car and pull out my fully tricked out and loaded AR with it's Laser and commence to empty the mag in the direction of the POINTEE....If that didn't work, I would jump in the same ditch with OMT..... :)

Okay, now I am seriously thinking about spending $200 on a !#@% beer stein. I need to quit reading these forums.

As far as the laser light goes, I'd just drive away.
