Handicap Accessible Shooting Range

Post by Akia21 »

Does anyone know of any handicap accessible shooting ranges in or around southwest Ohio?

Indoor or outdoor? Also, what level of accessibility do you need? Many of the outdoor club ranges are reasonably accessible via wheelchair (except during inclement weather such as heavy snow or rain)

There is not much choice in indoor ranges in the Cincinnati area. Target World leaves something to be desired, and if you are chri bound, they may have to drop the "bench" in the stall as it may interfere. I have not been to Shooters Supply of Indpendence KY but have heard it is a decent range but no idea about accessibility. Vandalia Range and Armory, in Vandalia, near the Dayton airport is a modern indoor facility but a bit of a drive. One Shot in Newtown OH will be opening an indoor range in the near future. As it will be a modern facility it should be accessible. Best of luck.
