Dayton Police say a man who was being robbed at a local gas
station turned the table on his attackers, shooting one of them.

Glad you are ok. Please keep us updated with any sort of case brought against you, and details when your lawyer says it is alright to discuss, and when you are OK to talk about it.

IMO, still get a legal opinion. You can never be too careful. Again, I hope you are OK mentally and physically.

Looks like a good shoot to me. Good job. 2 shots center mass stopped the threat and then you removed yourself from the location. Nothing excessive there.

If you are allowed to talk, can you explain where you went after the shooting and what you did?

Did they take your weapon for "investigation" purposes? Do you have a backup? I would be so inclined as to offer a backup if you do not, provided you can return it to me when you receive your weapon.

WOW!
I'm glad you're OK. I'd hate to think what could have happened.

Can you tell us if you experienced tunnel vision, an adrenaline boost, auditory exclusion, etc?

I am glad that you are safe after this incident. You can never tell what someone high on crack is going to do. If the family members had become distraught before this happen, then perhaps they could have saved Montgomery County thousands of dollars treating and prosecuting their family member.

Be glad that this was caught on video showing the perp as the aggressor. If not, then things might not have been so cut and dry. I hope that you have your gun returned soon and not until after the trial. I also hope that the perp does not try a civil shakedown either.

the gun was a glock model 36. carrying with one in the chamber probably saved my life because i was holding myself in the car with my left hand as they were trying to pull me out of the car no way i could have racked the slide.
