It's pretty much just like the M&G you attended with the exception that there are only 3 stages and it's $5.

The nice thing about attending at this time of year, less of a turn out because folks don't want to experience the cold weather elements.
This works in your favor as it generally means more shooting, less standing around waiting to shoot.

Tonight's turnout was 7.
I think we went thru 50 rounds each.
Normally (warm weather) closer to 30.

We worked on a lot of strong hand shooting and some weak hand.

I usually drag race most of the summer so this is "shooting season" to me. The cold and snow don't bother me in the least, the wind...well that's a different story.

I will try and get a couple of buddies to go with me, but at the very least I should be out next time. Does that mean that the 13th of January will be the next one?

We meet the third and fifth (when there is one) Thurs.
Next one is 1/2011.

BTW, agreed on the wind. Make it much colder.
Tonight's shoot was pretty mild compared to the last Hardly a breeze to speak of.

Being that there is a "Friends of the NRA" dinner locally, turnout may be lighter than normal.
I suggest bringing extra ammo if you like.

3/31...last day of the month will be celebrated with another CC shoot.

I picked up a bunch of shoot n see targets for the last stage (which I think will be shot from a shorter distance).

Well if all goes well, i'll be attending my first shoot on the 31st with my buddy Dave(penn-66). never shot one of these before but it should be fun. i'll see you there.

I haven't been to the Salem Hunting Club in a while.
Looks like I will make the trip this Thursday.
