Before the GOP takes all these elections...

Post by bignflnut »

...without laying out any positive agenda, or any intention of enacting same, we should look back to recent history and understand where we're going.

Remember when Obamacare went through and the Dems lost 1000+ elected offices nationally? The GOP won by default and refused to do anything about Obamacare, which oppresses us yet today.

The grifters in the GOP (new and old) have no positive agenda, will not stand up to lockdowns/mandates, and have no intention of serving you by securing the blessings of Liberty en masse. They are comfortable with ZERO accountability because that keeps them in office/power/grift.

The GOP stands around like a lifeless mannequin, being played by Dems at every turn. They had House/Senate/White House for Trump's first 2 years, and got next to nothing done (while hurting RKBA). It's only a matter of time before Dems retake everything.

Remember who kicked this all off in March of 2020. Until people responsible for these crimes are brought to justice, you're on your own. These political people are not your Saviours.

God Bless those Canuck truckers and may their cause immigrate to our homes.

Republicans haven't won a national election on an aspirational message beyond Democrat fatigue/backlash since the Contract with America in 1994. And since most of the same people are still running it, do you see that changing under its current feckless leadership?

It's a sad thing that Republicans have put themselves in a position to need to capitalize on the failure of others and acute misery of the people to win, but they did this to themselves.

Personnel is policy. The same personnel are still there. Ditch still runs the Senate, and no one dares to challenge him. His mini-me McCarthy is the GOP leader in the House. So now the question is, will the GOP take the DeSantis off-ramp and try leading to win for a change?
