Washington, March 2, 2021
Washington, D.C. –Yesterday, U.S. House Majority Whip James E. Clyburn (SC-6) and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (NY-10), reintroduced the “Enhanced Background Checks Act” in the 117th Congress. This legislation would close the so-called “Charleston Loophole” that currently allows the sale of a firearm to proceed if a background check is not completed within three days. The House is expected to vote on the bill next week.
This legislation extends the initial background check review period from three to 10 days. After that initial 10 business day period, if a background check is not completed, a purchaser may request an escalated review to spur the FBI to complete its investigation.
The bill has 60 co-sponsors in the House and Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) is introducing companion legislation in the Senate.

First Hundred days a great deal of hay is to be made, unless you're Trump... but they did waste some time on Impeachement

Furthermore, Gun Control was recently discussed by Edwin Vieira online... masterclass in many topics. IF you plan to be here for the rebuilding of American Society, you might want to listen.

I encourage you to set the speed to 1.5x ( you can likely handle that) 1.75x for the stout of ear.

Is what worth that much time...?
...Learning the arguments against our society being destroyed?
...understanding how we are should be prodding our Representation?
...grasping what we should be teaching younger generations?
...repenting from being lead to the wrong arguments by the NRAs of the RKBA space?
...finding our voice so that we can actually lead ourselves back to what America should be?

Is wisdom worth an investment of time?
Is YOUR family or YOUR community worth an investment of time?
Is America worth an investment of time?

If you want to keep baitin to FoxHub, listen to Rush's replacement for 3 hours...catch Tucker, Hannity, Levin, etc...you can see how far that's gotten you. Here you won't even get Medicare ads in the process...

Listen and let me know if you think it was worth the listen.

I'll cut it down to 60 minutes...but if you can comprehend what they're talking about in this 5 - 10 minutes...well...I can't value anyone's time for them. Nor can I comprehend WE THE PEOPLE for anyone else. I am incapable of making anyone comprehend the duties of citizenship.

Right on time...let's Demonize the Militia...the only institution named in the US Constitution as NECESSARY to the SECURITY of the FREE STATE
Here we go again with yet more vague "threats" by nebulous militant right-wing groups targeting the Capitol which will no doubt be met with an additional mass increase in security measures (and budgets no doubt) walling the public off from the whole area...

Yikes. U.S. Capitol Police statement just out: "We have obtained intelligence that shows a possible plot to breach the Capitol by an identified militia group on Thursday, March 4." pic.twitter.com/LcxhOO5lKs

The second measure, the Enhanced Background Checks Act, would close the “Charleston loophole” by extending the review period in which a background check can be conducted before purchasing a firearm to 10 days, up from the current three days.
I had not heard that the 3 day waiting period was a "loophole."

The bill would require federal authorities to alert state and local law enforcement within 24 hours when people who are legally prohibited from purchasing a firearm — such as convicted felons, fugitives, and domestic abusers — try to buy a gun. Mr. Toomey and other senators introduced the same measure in March 2018.
So they think it is important that law enforcement is notified "when people who are legally prohibited from purchasing a firearm." I read that an amendment that added illegal aliens to list got voted down. Wouldn't want some MS-13 member to lose his freedom over trying to buy a gun.
