I wouldn't go that far. There are people who exercise their First Amendment rights to say they want to go farther than banning assault style firearms, and it's not a crime as long as they don't act on it. As far as delusional, yes, but not one that is an immediate danger to self or others. It's not 1994 anymore. There are probably up to 20 million AR pattern firearms privately owned, and that's not even counting all the other handguns and long guns that are in the proposed AW ban. I think Beto did the gun rights groups a big favor, and the gun control crowd a big disservice.

I have to say, I've only really been on the gun owning side of things for 10 years or so, at least being more informed about it. How have some of you that have been around a lot longer been able to stand it. I almost wanted this guy to get elected and actually try to do what he promised just so we get this argument done and over with for our lifetime. I grow tired of constantly debating, and trying to educate. There are times where I just want to say, well, no, and you know what, why don't you go ahead and try it and let's just get it done, eh?

I know that would be ugly and all, and that we really don't want it to have to go there. And so after my annoyance subsides I go back to trying to educate... But still.

I would. As a former-elected official and one seeking to be elected again... for him to be calling for such blatantly unconstitutional measures should be considered treason. Try him, convict him, then line up the firing squad.

If he wanted to exercise his 1st Amendment rights then he should have been pushing for a change to the 2nd Amendment first not pushing to ignore the 2nd Amendment and incite/inflict violence upon the law abiding citizens of this country.

Back underground goes the plan...
Bernie Sanders is in Iowa this week and took a question from the crowd at a greed jobs rally regarding Beto-esque mandatory gun “buybacks” for AR-15s and AK-47s.

The Vermont socialist had this to say about that . . .
I don’t support — a mandatory buyback is essentially confiscation, which I think is unconstitutional. It means that I am going to walk into your house and take something whether you like it or not. I don’t think that stands up to constitutional scrutiny.
We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
In an era where the woke are free to express their genuinely depraved and insistently tyrannical selves , Bernie is trying the old way of deceiving the public then springing the trap when he's in office-per political wonk Joy Behar's free advice.

That doesn't mean he won't have the Constitution changed so confiscating things becomes legal....

On stage in Dallas, Texas, Monday night, former Vice President Joe Biden thanked his former political rival Beto O'Rourke for endorsing him.

"I want to make something clear," Biden said:
I'm going to guarantee this is not the last you're seeing of this guy.

You're going to take care of the gun problem with me. You're going to be the one who leads this effort. I'm counting on you. I'm counting on you. We need you badly, the state needs you, the country needs you. You're the best. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Human Gaffe Machine at it again...
Joe Biden held a rally Saturday at Kiener Plaza in downtown St. Louis and later in Kansas City, Missouri.
During his St. Louis rally Joe tripped over his own tongue again.
Biden mish-mashed his name with Barack Obama’s name as he was bragging about being a lifelong Democrat.
Worse yet, later in the day Joe Biden went on to admit at his Kansas City stop that he cannot beat President Trump.
Joe Biden, “We can not win this election. We can only reelect Donald Trump.”

Go figure, His own words out of his own mouth, not edited to alter or pieced together.. Got it twitter.
a video recently shared by President Trump was labeled with a “manipulated media” tag by Twitter. The label, which was announced as part of a new policy last month, is designed to apply to media that has been “significantly and deceptively altered or fabricated.”

The video retweeted by the president was originally posted by the White House director of social media Dan Scavino.

I'm no fan of the gaffe machine, but fair is fair. What was sent out on the President's twitter feed *was* edited to alter the meaning. The sentence did not end there. The full quote was "Excuse me. We can only re-elect Donald Trump if in fact we get engaged in this circular firing squad here. It's gotta be a positive campaign so join us."

Nother day, nother gift from the Human Gaffe Machine...let's put this in perspective, Biden is said to put the final nail in the Sanders campaign by winning Michigan...
The Democrat frontrunner for president clashed with members of a key constituency on Tuesday.

Former Vice President Joe Biden was visiting an auto plant under construction in Detroit when several of the workers wanted to talk about his positions on issues.

WATCH: "You’re full of sh*t," @JoeBiden tells a man who accused him of "actively trying to end our Second Amendment right."

"I support the Second Amendment," Biden adds while vising under-construction auto plant in Detroit. @CBSNews pic.twitter.com/sueOSBaY9P

— Bo Erickson CBS (@BoKnowsNews) March 10, 2020

“You are actively trying to diminish our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms,” one unionist charged.

“You’re full of sh*t!” Biden responded.

As another attempted to speak up, Biden ordered him twice to “shush.”

“I support the Second Amendment,” the candidate countered.

As Biden said he was going to “take your AR-14s away,” he pointed his finger in the man’s face.

“This is not okay,” the man said, creating a buffer between the finger and his face.

“Don’t tell me anything, pal,” Biden demanded.

The worker continued to defend the Second Amendment and disputed Biden’s interpretation of “assault rifles.”

“Don’t be such a horse’s butt,” Biden said before he walked away.

Anyone who has a family member suffering from dementia easily sees the symptoms in Joe. It is not the fact that I despise his policies, his politics and his leanings. This old guy deserves to be taken home and treated well. The Democratic machine is trotting him out so that they can hopefully gain the White House and then pull him out and install the hand-picked vice presidential candidate. I cannot stand him, but the way that the Democratic machine is treating him is absolutely despicable.
