The usual nonsense from the usual suspects. What I would love to ask the people that propose this on a national level is why they support licensing ownership of guns on a national level, yet when the subject of accepting a CCW license nationally comes up they all of a sudden claim states rights.

Exactly. Swap voting for firearms in any of this proposed legislation and see how much support there is. The wailing and gnashing of teeth will be deafening from all corners.
