California Gun Laws Are a Failure

Well, Duh!

A new academic study has found that, once again, gun laws are not having their desired effect.

A joint study conducted by researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the University of California at Davis Violence Prevention Research Program found that California’s much-touted mandated background checks had no impact on gun deaths, and researchers are puzzled as to why.

Four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, ammo - use in that order.
If you aren't part of the solution, then you obviously weren't properly dissolved.

Academics can't comprehend that bad guys don't obey the laws, only the law abiding do. The mentally ill are living in a world of their own outside of the laws.

And remember, as the mental health advocates remind us - very few mentally ill people become violent so we have to be careful that we don't trample their rights. That may be true, but I'll bet on a percentage basis even fewer lawful gun owners become violent, yet they're fair game for whatever.
