ATF changes how to measure OAL of firearm with brace

Post by JustaShooter »

Braces can no longer be included in OAL measurements as they are not considered an integral part of the firearm and are merely considered accessories.

This doesn't affect whether or not they are considered a pistol under Ohio law, but does affect whether or not you can add a vertical foregrip and remain legal.
