DEM's ultimate end game

Post by qmti »

Rep. Mike Thompson (D-CA) said during a press conference Tuesday that the only way to prevent all gun violence in America was to take away everyone’s gun.

Well, as if we didn't already know that's their goal.

When the media is willing to cover for 3 politically incorrect politicians in Virginia, you know you can write your own checks. The mask is being removed willingly, due to society's moral complacency and lack of effective engagement.

The irony of integrity bringing out the desires for infanticide, taxation to the moon, disarming the public, the destruction of marriage, civility, education, free speech, etc, is rather rich. These are the thoughts of people previously identified as tolerant, loving, compassionate, etc... They've taken each and every institution in America. They think their time is now. Hence the overt calls for Socialism.

I'm glad some are stating their (obvious) end game. The more transparent this is the less reason there is for some people to believe or claim otherwise.

Do you have a link? I did a google search, can't find him saying that anywhere so far. There are links mentioning a press conference about proposed gun legislation, but nothing with that comment in it or anything similar. Not implying he really doesn't believe that, I've just never seen most politicians that honest about their true colors at a press conference.

In addition, I've heard the same comment from politicians opposed to gun control laws as well, implying half measures like background checks, raising minimum age, won't work because criminals ignore the law, so context is important.

I had copy/pasted the sentence from the website "Bearing Arms" article. But I'll be darned, I can't find it now. I had just read it today. I'll try and do better in posting the links next time I post a comment from a article. Could the sentence have been edited after it was posted?

The trick to keeping our guns when the Left is in charge is to become illegal immigrants.
After more than two dozen moderate Democrats broke from their party's progressive wing and sided with Republicans on a legislative amendment Wednesday, New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez reportedly sounded the alarm in a closed-door meeting Thursday and said those Democrats were "putting themselves on a list."

The legislation that prompted the infighting was a bill that would expand federal background checks for gun purchases, the Washington Post reported. But a key provision requiring U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to be notified if illegal immigrants attempt to purchase guns saw 26 moderate Democrats side with Republicans.

This universal background bill is (hopefully) destined to die in the Senate. If it doesn't Trump will veto it. I hope.

I think a better idea would be to keep the amendment and trash the rest of the bill.
