The Canton Police Department in collaboration with the Stark County Prosecutor Safer Streets Initiative will host a Community Gun Buyback on May 15.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Civic Center, according to a news release.
All guns must be operable to be eligible for a $100 Walmart gift card.
Guns are to be unloaded and transported in the trunk of the vehicle.
Everyone is to stay in their vehicle, and a volunteer will come out and exchange their weapon for a gift card.
Gift cards will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The buyback is open to Stark County residents only. There will be no questions asked. No ID is required.

Maybe they go by the county number sticker on your license plate ? and if it's wrong.. they tell you to just leave with the firearms.. yeah that's what would happen...
