Which 12v jump starter ?

Post by techmike »

In the market for a 12v jump starter, which one would you recommend? Looking for one that will stay in the garage, plenty of power for gas powered vehicles & tractors.

Thanks!

I have a Craftsman 2/12v probably 20yrs or more old works great.
Handle/strap on top say 6in tall x 12in wide or so, nice because it does'nt take up much space.
Used to start cars in the past & my lawn tractor.

I think I've got this one as well for about the same timeframe. The 200 AMP start feature is super. Had a screw come loose with the handle, that's the only 'trouble' I've had with it.

I have used a Stanley Fat Max, Powr-It 1000, for 3 years.
Built in air compressor and USB ports.
Liked it so much after 1st year bought 2 for keeping in our vehicles, keep the original in the garage.
Then at Christmas got 1 for each of our grown children.
Normally $79.00 at Sam's club. I bought them on sale for $59.00. Have seen Sam's have the sale numerous times.

I've had a NOCO Boost HD GB70 for a few years and have used it several times to jump cars up to 8-cylinders. Never had any issues with it. I keep it in a Caseling Hard Case.
