Whether or not you were/are a Trump supported, do you believe that the GOP had signed their own death certificate over the past 12 months? RINOs seem to be less of the exception and more of the norm this year than I have ever seen. Again, I don't think the serious doubt of Republican leaders come from their lack of support for Trump, but from the total disregard, over and over again, of the Constitution and seemingly aligning with Democrats under the guise of Orange Man Bad.
One must wonder if there was a successful plot to fill the GOP with quiet Democrats to destroy the party from within.
There has been much buzz on the corners of the internet about the strong desire for a new political party, aligned with Trump's ideas, to replace the GOP. Many see Mitch McConnell, several Justices, and countless others as backstabbing traitors, signalling their support for Biden despite numerous, likely true, election irregularities only a day or two after election or re-election. I believe there's enough people with disgust for the GOP, and even the Democrats to change to a new, stronger, more focused party, but I don't believe there is the organization that will ever allow it to come to fruition.

My 2 cents.. We saw after November that the Dems could cheat and get away with it. I had little hope that the Georgia January election result would be any different.

Well, as long as the states respective central nominating committees keep nominating for their parjty, weak milquetoast wish-a-wash mmmmmmoderate middle of the roader toader candidates, YES
Time for some radio hosts to STOP quoting Reagan, something like ''it's not a different party we need but a revitalized R party, bold pastel colors'' or, something like that. That was 40 years ago, and dozens of dozens & their cousins COMPROMISES.
Herein for this missive, COMPROMISES ^^ means; capitulate, give in. Sign the extra large bloated spending bill. We'll hit that hard, NEXT fight, for we must fold like a wet paper bag, NOW. This is not the hill to die on, because, it never is. Etc. , etc. , et al.
Sighned, AL (and sighned is not a mispel ; Al is a funny to et al )

I voted no but for more reasons than RINO politicians. There's also the rush by Democrats to give statehood to PR and DC, and the various methods they used in the presidential and Senate runoff elections will continue to be used. IMO Absentee voting by Democrats will continue to be used well past any demise of Covid, because it works for them in certain states that have lax rules on their use or possible misuse.m

A. To the poll question: Simple and plain, only "approved" RINOs will hold office. The enemy owns the ballot box. They're waiving it in our face, and there is no political will to stop them.
B. On suicide: AMERICAN SEPPUKU Here's a great explanation of how we got here. Shame. Embarrassment. We've given our consciousnesses over to the people who have lost their grip on reality. They drive our national conversation. This has been in process long before the last 12 months. Some were willing to point this out, and were not warmly regarded as they did so.
Yes, this CAN happen in America, Virginia. If people stop worshiping and seeking the origins of Truth, it must happen. Truth, Justice, and the American Way are all on the chopping block. The attacks didn't start during Trump's tenure, they've been allowed to march through the institutions unabated. Every definition (personhood, marriage, male/female, right/wrong, equity, math, truth, justice, education, economy/money, virtue/crime, etc) belongs to them.
Neither political party is on our side. One is honest about that fact, and the other lies, while pointing out the hypocrisy of the first. Are you thankful that God has removed these false idols, so that we have no choice but to turn to Him for salvation?

...we all have to guard against double standards. It is a temptation that all of us are prone to. We must never attempt eye surgery on our brother, trying to get the speck out, when we have a beam in our own eye (Matt. 7:3-5 ). When we come to correct a brother, we have to remember ourselves, and consider ourselves, lest we also be tempted (Gal. 6:1 ). This should be part of ordinary Christian living. Do not expect others to cut you slack while at the same time cutting no slack for others. This is basic. Golden Rule. This is the law and the prophets.
Up at the beginning I said to my imaginary interlocutor that that I understood the Capitol protest better than he did, but not necessarily better than his handlers did. After saying that, I promised an explanation, and here it comes. This is what the handlers are up to.
We are not dealing with ordinary, life-in-the-village-level double standards. We are not even dealing with egregious double standards, as when those men were going to stone a woman for adultery (John 8:5 ) when they all were compromised by that same sin (John 8:9 ). They had enough remaining decency to feel ashamed, and to tip-toe away. So I am not here discussing venial double standards, and not even talking about grotesque double standards.
No. What we are dealing with is double standards embraced openly, eagerly, relentlessly, flagrantly, and insolently, along with an impudent look that says we dare you to say anything about it. That is what the handlers of the left are orchestrating, and they know exactly what they are doing. This is what I mean by the weaponization of double standards. “If any of you shiny establishment Christians take any note of what we are doing out here in the noonday sun, we will promptly call you Trump-loving racists, and then where will you be? You misogynists.”
The double standards are on display, on purpose. We are not discovering their double standards, as though they had been trying to hide them. They have been beating us over the head with their double standards for quite a while now, and they have been doing this because they want us to see what they are doing, and yet pretend as though we somehow didn’t.And this is being done in a such a way as that the double standards involved have been ramped up to a point where they CANNOT BE MISSED, kind of like those words that I just put in all caps. They are unmistakable. And this is how we find out who the cowards are. The cowards are those who will not say what everybody sees and knows. The purpose of the glaring double standards is therefore to humiliate, and the deploying of these double standards is intentional.“Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small. In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lost once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is to co-operate with evil, and in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.”
Theodore Dalrymple, for the winOur adversaries have been calling upon the gods of civil unrest for decades now. Now that they appear to be descending, I don’t think their devotees will be as pleased as they thought they were going to be. I don’t think they will like living under the new rules, and I don’t think it will go well for them. And this is no threat from me, as though I somehow approve of the savage gods that are being summoned from both left and right.“We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men.”
George Orwell
But they are sticking with their demented plan anyhow.

Trump and his 75,000,000 voters need to be buried by the Establishment. The second impeachment will seal the deal, and let everyone know to never, ever, try something like Trump again.
Looks like they won.
Looks like we are back to the good ‘ol days of country club Republicans being told what to do to retain their positions and appearance of opposition to the Democrats.
Difference is back then we had Southern Democrats that were not Progressives to keep the Marxist socialist Democrats in check.
No more.
Country as a whole is toast. I hope pockets of folks that think like me can survive.

Re: Did the GOP commit suicide?
The thing is that on a national level we are slowly moving to the left. People considered far left in the 60s would be thought of as moderates now. Middle of the road then, far right now. I don't want to thing about of our society is going to be like in 20 to 30 years if these treads continue, the US will probably be another Venezuela by then....
