Happy Birthday America!

Post by Gramps »

While we may not be perfect this is still the best country on earth!
Enjoy this day and remember the brave men and women who sacrificed everything to make and keep us FREE.

"Happy Birthday America!" Yes indeed. And a very large thanks to all the Patriots - past, present and future that defend and protect our country.

A pox on everyone else.

Sitting reserve in near DCA airport and I walked to Boeing Fields to watch the fireworks show over the Washington Mall and river. Incredible display. I'm not much for emotions, but it brought more than one tear to my eyes thinking how proud and lucky I am to be an American and how so few understand that privilege. I was surrounded by people of all creeds, colors, races, infact I was a minority in my immediate vicinity. But we were all happy to be in America together.

Except the Karen cop near me......she was all about the social distancing and couldn't wait to get home. She finally gave up when over a thousand of us didn't care.
Good luck and stand fast, true Patriots.

We live in the greatest nation on Earth and it is our solemn duty to pass it to our grandchildren in better shape than it is now.
Freedom isn't free.

I believe that God has always blessed America and will continue to do so. A lot of what we mortals think are bad things and situations often turn into incredible blessings!

Was invited to a 4th of July cookout. Took my gunsmithing tools with me.
Nothing like teaching a friend how to assem-build a freedom rifle on freedom day, on a picnic table in the back yard.
Then of course there was test firing, food and fireworks.

Hope I can do the same for another friend next year.
