D Day

Post by Gramps »

75 years ago was D Day 6 June 1944, the greatest generation lost 6000 soldiers in the invasion stopping Germany from ruling a big part of the free world.
I miss a good friend, Tom Shotts who was among a group who parashooted behind the lines to mine bridges so Germany could not get reinforcements into the battle.
Thank a Veteran!
