An armed encounter that I can't talk about here..

Post by Brian D. »

..Mostly because I used some VERY salty language to dissuade a couple of guys from trying to scare or maybe mug me. Also, they may have bluffed about being armed. Then again, my draw was pretty fast if I do say so myself.

This happened two days ago in the middle of the afternoon by the way. If it was an old story I'd not have mentioned it at all.

Yes, sort of. Called an officer I know on that city's department. Hard to tell if that pair of would-be thugs are menaces or just morons.

It's complicated, Carmen. A story best told in person.

Wow Brian, for your sake... I’m glad those tools lived through it. That’s a whole lot of hassle you don’t need.

I can’t imagine they had any idea of how badly their day might have ended. Probably wishful thinking that meeting you changed their path for the better?

Glad you’re good to go and still sharp.

Thanks gang. This was similar to an incident from 30+ years ago, except for the fact I'm a licensed carrier now, someplace it is legal to be armed.

Reminds me of a former co-worker who was assaulted by somebody who hit HIM in his car. He chilled the guy out with his Shield and the assailant was arrested.

I'm glad that it went well Brian.
With as much training as you have and the practice that you do I'm sure the thugs were quite surprised.
