Maybe what needs to happen with the judge is they should insist on the officers alleging probable cause actually appear before them under oath and give them the third degree. Also, they need to get serious about if there are false statements in these affidavits the officers go to jail for perjury. This goes from this local case all the way to the FISA warrants investigating Trump's campaign.

Yes, there's a division between judicial and executive branches for a reason. They were not intended to be back scratching partners. They were to be oversight of one another in service not to themselves, but the Rights of the populace.

The legislative branch can recall bad judges...but when do they?
The executive branch can arrest bad judges and or legislators...but when do they?

The system was established to uphold our Rights, but has become destructive to them. There are remedies for this, but home of bravery we sing so passionately about, has long ago left us. Now, we are men without chests.

Kentucky prosecutors have dropped criminal charges against the boyfriend of a Louisville EMT gunned down by police in her own home, and FBI officials have announced a federal probe into the March shooting.

The new developments in the death of Breonna Taylor and the case against Kenneth Walker came late last week, even as Louisville Metro Police Chief Steve Conrad announced his intent to retire from the force, effective July 1. Activists incensed by Taylor’s killing had been demanding Conrad’s resignation.

SNIP

“You all are weathering a lot right now and I know how challenging this is,” Conrad said in his statement. “Approach this as we approach all our struggles – as a team. Look out for each other. Show compassion to the community, even when it might not be shown to you. And remember what a privilege this job is.

Louisville officers’ conduct is at the heart of the FBI probe into Taylor’s March 13 killing. FBI agents in the Louisville field office confirmed Thursday that they have begun an investigation into the case.

“FBI Louisville has opened an investigation into the shooting of Breonna Taylor,” Special Agent in Charge Robert Brown said in a statement. “The FBI will collect all available facts and evidence and will ensure that the investigation is conducted in a fair, thorough and impartial manner.”
Too little, too late, pal. And the FBI talking about fair thorough and impartial investigations is rich with deception.
The problem is that you were looking out for your brothers in the colorful gang instead of the community or those you were tasked to protect.
Then you quickly arrested the dude.
Compassion is your message? Now? You hypocrite.
Outcry over the fatal shooting of Breonna Taylor reached a boiling point overnight Thursday in Louisville, Kentucky, when gunfire erupted during protests and audio was released of Taylor’s boyfriend’s call to 911 the day of her death.

Seven people were shot downtown, the mayor said in a video message on Twitter. Mayor Greg Fischer later told reporters the gunfire “came from within the crowd, not from police officers.”

SNIP

“These shots came from within the crowd, not from police officers,” he said. “No officers fired their weapons. If you hear anything to the contrary, that is not factual.”

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear read a statement from Taylor’s mother, Tamika Palmer, on CNN Friday, saying the last thing her daughter would want is more violence.

“Breonna devoted her own life to saving other lives, to helping others, to making people smile and to bringing people together,” the statement said.

“Changes are being made, but it is not enough. We will not stop until there is truth, justice and accountability. Her legacy will not be forgotten… Please keep saying her name. Please keep demanding justice and accountability, but let’s do it the right way, without hurting each other.”
Genuine question: Are there any reports of arrests in this case other than against the victims? Are the men that did this still walking free, weeks and months later?

This isn't a question of Marxist racism that only sees skin color, this is a question of Justice and civil government wielding the limited sword we the people gave them so that they would be a terror to evil. If arrests are not made towards criminals, they carry the sword in vain and it should be removed from them.

The Marxist mob is dangerous because its thirst for blood will never be quenched. There is no end to the blood they will seek. They will turn on former constituents to consolidate their power until they are stopped. There is no end to their rage. The false "justice" they seek is never realized. They are never to be contented. Domination is their goal and utopia is always just a series of acts away.

America was established as a society full of self-governing people, but now we seek to govern our neighbors, certain that we are the good people who need no governing. This is the vision of our Elites. The people have discarded self-government. They have discarded moral authority and the blood offered to cover the sins of men everywhere, exchanging it for the authority of the State and a never ending river of its countrymans blood. Yes, they have been educated and cajoled to do so. Yes, men like Ron Paul and others, who spoke softly, in peace, were discarded along the way, as they did not have the force to overwhelm those in power. Years of stop signs have been erected, our leaders ran through each of them, denying that the cliff existed. G*d is not mocked.

Now society is in free fall, and you can either believe that they enjoy the moment, or are ignorant that it could have come. As you consider your response, please remember who was behind the wheel and how aggressively they drove to get here.

Bout time they dropped the charges on the boyfriend. Also don't understand why it took 2 months (March 13 to May 13th) to unseal the warrant used for the raid, especially when the guy they wanted was arrested ~10 hours before the Taylor / Walker residence was raided. Cause you know the piece of paper that says why they are invading your residence and what they are searching for is confidential information.

Finally a few details from the other side
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/ch ... w-n1213501" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The injured officer, Jon Mattingly, described the beginning of the operation: "Banged on the door. No response. Banged on it again. No response. At that point, we started announcing ourselves, 'Police please come to the door. Police, we have a search warrant.'"

Walker said that he was scared and believed an ex-boyfriend who was unwelcome at the home had returned and that whoever was at the door gave "no response." He said he had called 911, fired one shot as the door opened and aimed for the ground.

"I didn’t mean to," Walker said. "Clearly, I was scared."
What officer says "Please come to the door" when executing a no knock warrant... I find that hard to believe. Trying to tone it down to look good for the investigation I guess.

The difference between the KY case and Floyd is the lack of video (which removes all "reasonable" doubt).
The coverup is in full swing, with no clearly defined person or persons to hold accountable.
Perhaps with the release of Mattingly's name, certain individuals will be charged (*fingers crossed*).
The judge should be charged, anyone on the raid who should have known better, anyone involved in the coverup should be charged and hanged, if found guilty by a jury of their peers.
You're right to say that it already been months. Far too long.

This is something that has been called out for years by peaceful people. They were dismissed as "cop bashing". We divided into separate tribes - the powerful and the powerless. Towns, cities, counties should grind to a halt until the wheels of blind, objective, evidence based justice are put into proper motion.

Earlier today we ran a report that indicated that the Louisville police had opened fire when a rioter took a shot at them and some National Guard troops early this morning. They returned fire, killing David McAtee, the owner of a restaurant adjacent to the area where the crowd had formed.

Subsequent investigation revealed that none of the Louisville Metro Police Department cops in the area had activated their body cameras…in the middle of a riot. As a result, Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer, fired LMPD Chief Steve Conrad who had announced his retirement at the end of June following the controversy over the shooting death of Breonna Taylor by LMPD officers.
Arrests need to happen yesterday.

Incident report was finally released in this case..
https://www.courier-journal.com/story/n ... 332915002/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The four-page report lists the time, date, case number, incident location and the victim's name — Breonna Shaquelle Taylor — as well as the fact that she is a 26-year-old black female.
And it lists her injuries as "none," even though she was shot at least eight times and died on her hallway floor in a pool of blood, according to attorneys for her family.

It lists the charges as "death investigation — LMPD involved" but checks the "no" box under "forced entry," even though officers used a battering ram to knock in Taylor's apartment door.
Thorough job the PD is doing on it's reporting, don't ya think ?

Not particularly unusual when police commit crimes.

IMHO, whomever writes these things in order to cover this all up is culpable also, and should be equally charged as a conspirator.

Anyone who should have know better, from the rubberstamping judge to commander, gunman, down the the paperwork jockey should be charged and on trial for their lives.

For my money, the B Taylor case is much more outrageous than the Chauvin/Floyd case. Taylor was undeniably innocent and no charges or consequences have flowed in nearly 3 months.

A Louisville police detective will be fired over the death of Breonna Taylor, who was fatally shot by officers in her home March 13, the city's police chief said Friday. Taylor, who was studying to become a nurse, was shot eight times by officers conducting a narcotics investigation. No drugs were found at her home.

In a scathing letter to Detective Brett Hankison, Louisville Police Chief Robert Schroeder said he plans to begin termination proceedings against the officer. The chief said he made the decision after reviewing the results of the department's internal investigation.

"I find your conduct a shock to the conscience," Schroeder wrote. "I am alarmed and stunned you used deadly force in this fashion."

The letter said Hankison "wantonly and blindly fired 10 shots into the apartment of Breonna Taylor."

The Louisville police department's public integrity unit is also investigating multiple sexual assault allegations against Hankison, reports the Courier Journal.

Sam Aguiar, an attorney for Taylor's family, said Hankison's firing is overdue.

"It's about damn time. It should have happened a long time ago, but thankfully it's at least happening now," Aguiar said. "This is an officer that's plagued our streets and made this city worse for over a dozen years. ... Let's hope that this is a start to some good, strong criminal proceedings against Officer Hankison, because he definitely deserves to at least be charged."

Where are the criminal proceedings against the person that orchestrated the raid in the first place ? He should be included in the list of those at fault for starting the whole fiasco.

The Louisville Metro Police detective who applied for the no-knock search warrant that precipitated the fatal shooting of Breonna Taylor has been placed on administrative reassignment.

Interim Louisville Metro Police Chief Robert Schroeder announced Wednesday morning that he placed Detective Joshua Jaynes on administrative reassignment until questions from Taylor's family, her attorneys, a U.S. postal inspector and others about "how and why the search warrant was approved" are answered.
