Remington shutdown DPMS, Bushmaster, Tapco, other ??

interesting..

Remington Outdoor Company informed RSR at the SHOT Show that they will be focusing on their core hunting and shooting brands – AAC, Barnes, Marlin and Remington.
Bushmaster, DPMS, StormLake Barrels and Tapco will no longer be produced, with the exception of the Bushmaster BA50.

Has Remington Outdoor Company shuttered the DPMS, Bushmaster and TAPCO brands? The main Remington website no longer lists them as part of the “Remington Outdoor Family of Brands.”

If you go to their specific brand sites, you get…nothing for the most part. No specific models listed, no products, no accessories, no online store to order specific branded items.

I've got their barrels for my Glock 19 and Glock 22. That's a real shame.

Navajo Nation wants to gut the consumer end and invest in "smart guns" and other liberal fantasies. Another Dick's Sporting Goods.

Navajo Nation sale fell through. Still trying to figure out how badly you have to suck as a firearms company to be going bankrupt in this market.

Firearms maker Remington Outdoor Co. has agreed toaccepted bids to sell its ammunition business out of bankruptcy to South Carolina-based investment firm JJE Capital Holdings LLC for $65 million plus the assumption of liabilities, subject to better offers.

The JJE offer came in the form of a stalking-horse bid, setting a floor on the sale price for Remington’s ammunition business, which the company has been marketing while in chapter 11. Remington filed for bankruptcy protection in July and has been open to selling its ammunition and firearms operations to pay off its debt.
