Sounds like the demographic of a school shooter no ? female, 6 years old, in kindergarten with downs syndrome.. yep checks all the boxes.

A school that called the police on a six-year-old girl with Down syndrome after she pretended to shoot her teacher with her fingers has refused to back down and claims it did the right thing.
The school didn't request a further investigation after it found that little Margot didn't intend to harm anyone.
ya think ? well apparently not.
Pennsylvania state Sen Andrew Dinniman, who was contacted by the Gaines family, also expressed concern with how the district handled the issue.

'As a state senator, an educator, and a parent, I am concerned when I hear that such important decisions appear to be guided blindly by written policy or legal interpretation without those in positions of authority using their judgment, experience, and commonsense to weigh in,' Dinniman said in a statement.

'Furthermore, I am alarmed that a school seems to be acting as an extension of the police department in promulgating data and records on children as young as kindergarteners.'

I've often said this - school administrators and teachers that are too inept to handle this easy situation correctly - have ZERO business being in education teaching children. I kept people like this away from mine.

I would hate to see what I would had to endure in today's school climate for what I did. Back when I was in kindergarten back in the early 90s, I brought a .22 round for show and tell. I pulled it out to show a few friends and they went and told the teacher. It was taken from me and a letter was sent home along with the round with me. I got a tan butt and a talk to that night but that was the end of that.

Back in the 50's, I took a trap door rifle in for a display our class was making on westward expansion during the last half of the 1800's. The principal loved it and it was the most popular item in the display.

Zero tolerance means zero common sense.

Looking past the actual incident, what message is being imprinted on 5 year-old minds? (the rest of the class) Guns=bad=cops take me away. This is more than just an isolated occurance, it is an exercise in mind control, writ large. Years ago I was in field service for networks/printers/copiers ect. The customer I disliked the most was the TFT. Was not possible to work on their machines and not read the crap in their copy room. Pure socialist propaganda. These incidents where pop-tart 'guns' and fingers get the police called are planned events.
