UPDATE @ 5:08 p.m.: The shooting on Grinnell Road that left a man and woman dead could have been a possible ambush, Greene County Sheriff Gene Fischer said, but authorities have not established a motive.
One of the victims was the ex-wife of the male homeowner who shot her in an exchange of gunfire in or near the driveway of the home in the 4300 block of Grinnell Road, the sheriff said.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a man with a gun approached a vehicle as it pulled into the driveway of the home was shot in an exchange of gunfire by the male homeowner who was in that vehicle.
The male homeowner was a passenger in the vehicle and has a CCW permit, the sheriff said.
The ex-wife of the homeowner drove up to the scene soon after the first shooting. She was armed with a gun and was killed in an exchange of gunfire with the male homeowner, Fischer said.

Two people who live at the house were not injured, Fischer said.
Deputies believe there may be surveillance video of the shooting, Fischer said.
Some additional information I heard on the am radio, Dayton Daily news, and WHIO TV 6pm news. There were wireless cameras aimed at the homeowners driveway, but they were not put there by the homeowner. The ex wife is believed to have planted them there, and received video on her smart phone, so she could see when her ex husband arrived without her being seen. She then allegedly contacted the male attacker a heads up. Also the male attacker's car allegedly had a fake or fictitious plate, perhaps in case a witness reported the car. In addition the homeowner allegedly was informed by someone that his ex wife was searching for someone to kill him and that he should take precautions. Also the deceased ex wife who came up to the homeowner after the male attacker (who was her current husband) was taken out was allegedly a former Hollywood stunt woman. Perhaps she played with guns in the movies, but her former career pretending to use guns didn't help her prevail in a gunfight in real life.
Cheryl Sanders wrote online that she moved from martial arts and kickboxing to a career as a stunt woman in the 1980s.
She said was the stunt double for Brooke Shields, Sharon Stone and other A-list actresses.
She doubled for Rene Russo in “The Thomas Crown Affair” and the “Lethal Weapon” series, jumped into a speedboat for Kathleen Turner in “V.I. Warshawski” and flew into the courthouse window in “Back to the Future Part II,” according to the Denver Post.
A 20-foot fall on the set of “Back to the Future Part II” brought her Hollywood career to a halt in 1989, according to the Denver Post. The bones in her face, right arm and hand were shattered when she hit the concrete after a cable was released during a flying stunt.
She later returned to Hollywood after changing to a healthy lifestyle that included supplements and diet changes. She did stunt double work for Jessica Alba in 2016.
Robert Reed Sanders had been licensed in real estate in Texas. Greene County Sheriff Gene Fischer said Thursday the man had a criminal record, but he did not elaborate.
Lindsey Duncan said the couple had just returned to their home Wednesday morning on Grinnell Road in Miami Twp. near Yellow Springs. He said a man with a camouflage mask and hoodie ran up and held a gun to Molly’s head while the two were getting the mail.
“I thought it was a bad nightmare. Whatever happened after that was instinct,” Lindsey Duncan said. “All of a sudden, hell began’
He struggled to fight back tears as he explained what he remembered from the shooting.
“(He) ran to my wife’s driver’s side with a gun and held it about 10 inches from her head,” Duncan said.
In two separate gun battles, bullets were flying inches past his wife’s head.
“Her being alive today … I’ll never be able to explain that,” Duncan said. “It wasn’t one shot or two shots. It seemed like 100 shots, and there were shells everywhere.”
Molly Duncan said: “I’m extremely thankful to be alive. I’m a mother and I still get to see my kids grow up.”
No charges will be filed against a man involved in February’s Grinnell Road shooting that left two people dead. According to the Greene County prosecutor, the case is closed.
A court filing shows a Greene County grand jury on June 16 considered evidence and testimony in the matter of Robert Lindsey Duncan, who lived at the home on the 3400 block of Grinnell Road in Miami Township at the time. No indictment was returned, which resulted in a no-bill finding.
Jurors determined that Duncan was acting in self-defense of himself and his wife, Molly, when he fatally shot his ex-wife Cheryl Sanders, and her husband Robert Reed Sanders on Feb. 12, according to Greene County Prosecutor Stephen Haller.

Keep in mind the Ohio Supreme Court waived time on nearly every case and recommended suspending grand juries. Not sure how a pandemic applies to the 6th Amendment but they did it.
I am not a lawyer. My answers are based on research, knowledge, and are generally backed up with facts, the Ohio Revised Code, or the United States Code.

All the more reason to bury the body yourself these days.

Wait, what?
No more grand juries?
