Trotwood homeowner charged with murder after shooting

A Trotwood homeowner is behind bars on suspicion of murder after he reported to police on Saturday afternoon that he shot an intruder.

One person is dead in what a Trotwood man told police was a home invasion.

The man called 911 around 12:35 p.m. to report that he had shot an intruder.

Randall Aniton, 63, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail but he has not been formally charged, online jail records show.

Alleged circumstances of the shooting have not been released yet.
