An interesting read if you have a few, it's only 11 pages so relatively quick as well. Will be interesting to see how this project moves forward for them. provided they get a conservative govt in the next election as their current leadership is talking about banning everything that is semi-automatic. (you recall the Gun-control announcement/diversion after the black face fiasco)

The popular consensus among firearm owners is that the Canadian media has on the whole a bias against firearm rights and for gun control measures.
The Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights has commissioned this report to identify the qualities and scope of this bias. The study isolated the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and completed an analysis of online media sources from cbc.ca over the 2018 year.
Bias by Country of Focus
The country of focus and source of Journalism affects the bias ranking.
This comparison of US and Canadian focused articles word counts on either side of the debate.
The United States coverage has a more graduated curve but skews more heavily toward calls
for increased gun control without providing an alternative perspective.
Canadian sources were still frequently one sided but articles that chose to take into account
gun owners’ perspectives were more friendly to them. US coverage from the Associated Press
was especially one sided and demonstrated a great deal of animosity to any firearm friendly
position.
