Deputy picking up ring in uniform turned away over his gun

And in the story there is a link stating the corporate apoligized profusely when they discovered he was LE, and the employee is no longer working for the store. :roll:

The employee enforced the policy they created and probably had no authority to veer from it. Corporate was wrong in instituting such a policy and doubly wrong in firing the employee who enforced it.

Probably not unless it is related to an unemployment claim case.
