Welcome to the Othering

Post by bignflnut »

An off-duty law-enforcement officer, with a concealed carry firearm, was denied entry to an Oklahoma theme park when he went there to escort his family and others on a school outing.

The off-duty officer, a captain with a county Sheriff department, reacted with shock about having a firearm was the reason he was turned away from a theme park. He had come as a chaperon for his family and a school.

"Turning someone away because they don't want guns on the premises that's one thing... but turning police officers away, law enforcement officers away, sheriff's deputies away because they don't want them carrying fire arms... in my opinion' that's just not smart," the captain said.

The officer had gone with his firearm concealed and paid for a ticket when he passed through a metal detector.

"They called another security guard over, and he said, 'No, this is private property and you're not welcome here' and I turned around and left as my family and about 11,000 other kids went into Frontier City," he said. "I was in shock that they didn't want law enforcement in there watching out for 11,000 of their customers."
Welcome to the concealed carry "Othering", Captain!
All ya'all are just fine making sure that commoners can't carry everywhere and anywhere, so long as there's an exception for you. You accepted Othering us, perhaps even advocated for it. "OFFICER / PUBLIC SAFETY!", was the cry. Do you remember?
Well, now you can join the rest of us in advocating FOR RKBA in the gen pop, eh?
On what basis are you going to argue that you can carry, Special Privilege or Natural Rights, Government Training or Humanity?
Tell your union reps to start supporting pro RKBA legislation, not just for you special blue liners, but for everyone. Until then, comprehend the self inflicted wound.

A felon prosecutors say is obsessed with “hate-based violence” was arrested after a raid on his Pittsburgh home turned up a cache of weapons, including an AR-15 style rifle, and videos of himself in Nazi apparel doing a Heil Hitler salute, according to a criminal complaint.

Dennis Alan Riggs, 50, who was convicted in 1994 of aggravated assault, also decorated his home with posters of Adolf Hitler and Nazis, and possessed a video of the 2019 terrorist attack in Christchurch, New Zealand, according to a criminal complaint.
Tens of thousands of gun rights advocates journeyed to Virginia to defend the Second Amendment (2A), yet the mainstream media painted another picture, one that grouped 2A defenders with neo-Nazis.

As Fox News reported, “several news outlets pushed the claim that the rally was made up of ‘white supremacists’ or ‘white nationalists.’ Instead, they got a rally that was so peaceful that the protesters even picked up their own trash when they were done.”
Ironic, (isn't it, don'tchathink?), that the Nazis Othered many in order to justify the removal of Natural Unalienable RIghts, but that now the Othering is labeling people AS Nazis in order to justify the removal of Natural Unalienable Rights.

Back in October of 2017, Bandy Lee—a forensic psychiatrist at Yale who doubles as a self-anointed political schoolmarm—notoriously diagnosed President Trump as having so-called narcissistic personality disorder. Having done this without “examining” him, Lee violated the American Psychological Association’s Goldwater rule, which states that “it is unethical for a psychiatrist to offer a professional opinion unless he or she has conducted an examination and has been granted proper authorization for such a statement.” Lee was widely rebuked by people throughout her profession, which, needless to say, is hardly a MAGA crowd.

SNIP

This brings us back to Bandy Lee. "I started 'translating' Trump's tweets as a public service sometime in the summer, because I could see his negative influence as he tries to reform others' thoughts," she says in the Salon interview. “[J]ust about all of Donald Trump's followers," she claims on Twitter, suffer from a "shared psychosis.” The vague and stilted term denotes nothing but what Lee, the "public servant," doesn’t like. Last year, the American Psychological Association pathologized masculinity itself, a subject I covered in my January 11, 2019, Takimag column. In my December 6, 2019, Takimag column, I showed how "psychiatric experts" try to use the fallacious brain disease model of addiction to negate the concept of free will and to absolve people from facing the consequences of their actions. As we have seen, Bandy Lee wants to use her pseudoscience to realize partisan political ends. There are plenty of others like her. So, we need to keep a close eye on such "experts," because they seek to use state power to control their enemies, and that means conservatives and libertarians in particular.
I can tell, by your political preference, from States and Regions away, that you, sir, are mentally ill. Therefore, you have no Rights regarding self-defense. Furthermore, you're dangerous to the public safety and need to be dealt with appropriately.

Michael Bloomberg warned of “history’s dark echoes” — referring to Nazism — emanating from contemporary border security measures in a Monday statement regarding Holocaust Remembrance Day. He additionally characterized President Donald Trump as aligned with “white supremacy.”

Bloomberg also repeated the “very fine people” hoax narrative championed by CNN and similar news media outlets regarding 2017’s demonstrations and riots in Charlottesville, VA.

Prove to the State that you're not a Nazi, racist, bigot, homophobe, etc....
The bill (S7065) (A01589) would make it mandatory that every gun owner in the state of New York get a mental health evaluation before they could purchase a firearm. This wouldn’t be a one-time thing, this would be for every gun and of course, these evaluations would have to be held at a location of the state of New York’s choosing and would be at the expense of the person looking to purchase the gun. This new assault on the rights of gun owners comes in the face of the ever progressive agenda of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s regime making it more than well known that gun owners in New York State are not only not wanted, they are on his list of targets and as he has said in the past if people don’t like his rules, then they are free to leave. The way things are going in New York, that’s getting to be the only thing they are free to do.
So, each time a gun owner wants to buy a gun, no matter what, they will have to seek out an approved mental health professional to have an evaluation performed.

For rural gun owners, where most people who own guns in the state happen to live, it would involve a drive to probably your nearest hospital. In my locale, that’s at least forty-five miles in one direction. Then there’s the cost of the expense to the price of the gun, which no one knows since it will be at the discretion of the doctor, and if the gun owner has health insurance if it will even be covered, etc.

Once the potential gun owner has the proof, he or she passed their mental health evaluation then they have to take that to the gun store and still fill out the paperwork.
Again, having accepted the NFA/GCA framework allows these laws, even Heller acknowledges arms as a privilege subject to current ongoing regulation

Gerhard posted a picture in Aug. 2019 of his new firearm to a private Snapchat group with classmates, claiming that his AR-15 rifle would “make the snowflakes melt” when he returned to campus. The reference meant that far-left students would be triggered by his possession of the rifle and it would literally melt snow, as the LSSU campus is located in Michigan’s upper peninsula renowned for its icy conditions.

“Taking this bad boy up. This ought to make the snowflakes melt a — and I mean snowflakes as in snow,” he wrote on social media, according to a transcript of the preliminary examination obtained by Big League Politics.

One classmate in the private group – who stated in court proceedings that she did not feel threatened by the post – showed the picture to a left-leaning female student, who copied the image on her phone before they filed a complaint to the district supervisor. It was then kicked up to campus public safety, who got Sault Ste. Marie police involved in the matter.

“I seen the picture, and when he said like make the snowflakes melt, it kind of made me assume that, um, kind of like as with the gun and shoot other civilians and stuff with it,” the woman who initiated the report said during questioning. She also mentioned that media coverage about mass shootings contributed to her panic when seeing the weapon and admitted to having prior political disputes with Gerhard over political matters.

Before Gerhard was even alerted to the controversy, he checked in his rifle and ammo at the campus armory as is required by LSSU. Police came and Gerhard consented to a search of his room, but they found nothing except a BB gun and a few hunting knives. Gerhard told police that he deleted the Snapchat post after people commented about its possibly offensive nature, and he was compliant with law enforcement while they questioned him.

Gerhard alerted his father, Mark, who drove hundreds of miles to campus from the Metro Detroit area to offer his son moral support. Despite the alleged terrorist emergency on campus, nothing was locked down and no precautions were taken by authorities. The Gerhards expected things to blow over, considering Lucas did nothing but exercise his 1st and 2nd Amendment rights. However, that was not the case as Lucas was apprehended the next day. He would be detained for several months in county jail.

SNIP

“Today at approximately 8:45 a.m., Sault Sainte Marie Police and Public Safety officers removed an individual from campus. The individual is allegedly responsible for a social media posting that was potentially threatening to the safety and well-being of the LSSU community,” Hanley wrote.

“We are certain that the individual involved is no longer in the campus vicinity. The Public Safety Department takes this type of messaging seriously, and the University is working closely with the Sault Sainte Marie Police Department during the investigation,” he added.

Lucas’ father Mark, who is a retired Marine colonel that has worked for many years in the federal government, told Big League Politics that he understands why the campus would take a possible threat so seriously. What he doesn’t understand is why prosecutors would continue pursuing such a case when it is abundantly clear that his son poses no threat to public safety. As the case develops, it is becoming clear that the intent is to make a statement and strip Lucas of his constitutional liberties forever.

SNIP

In an age where Trump supporters are being dehumanized and profiled as terrorist threats, Lucas is being railroaded as an example to all conservatives that they must sit down, shut up, and jettison their rights, or face the consequences.

Lucas is refusing to take any plea deal, and will fight the injustice in the courts. His father explains that they feel the case has broad ramifications that could impact many cases around the country.

“Lucas is adamant that he didn’t do this. He is not in any way or fashion looking to take a plea. He is going to fight this all the way through, which I think is a good thing,” Mark said.

“There are a lot of kids getting prosecuted under these kind of charges. If Lucas takes a plea, everyone following him is diminished. There are not going to be many opportunities for them to fight back against this after it becomes a precedent,” he added.

While Michigan does not yet have red flag laws on the books, Lucas’ case shows that lawful gun owners are under attack like never before. Citizen snitches, similar to Soviet Union, have been activated by the fake news hysteria to enforce Big Brother’s march against the 2nd Amendment. Pre-crime is the new norm, and the Orwellian Nightmare is the cruel reality facing us.
See Something, Say Something snags another one and soon he will be a "Prohibited Person" for exercising his 1st and 2nd Amendment Constitutionally protected Natural Rights.

THIS is the GCA/NFA framework that people are cheering to be enforced.
Welcome to the Othering, Colonel.

(Remember this story while Trump stands up and says that he's the best friend the 2nd Amendment ever had. IF gun free zones were eliminated, we would be one step further from this madness.)

Does this mean white nationalists and neo-Nazis are going to get state funding and be provided with arms?
The FBI director testified today that racially motivated extremism is as much of a threat to national security as ISIS.

The announcement comes two weeks after the arrest of neo-Nazis who discussed firing into the crowd at a pro-gun rally in Virginia. https://t.co/9APyT6jmny" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
— The Trace (@teamtrace) February 7, 2020

From VICE, "The FBI Just Put White Nationalists and Neo-Nazis on the Same Threat Level as ISIS":
The FBI has elevated racially-motivated violent extremism to a "national threat priority," in yet another sign that the U.S. government has finally woken up to the threat posed by white nationalists and neo-Nazis at home and abroad.
Just so you know, Trump's FBI is not helping defend us from the Othering.
How far a step is it now to being pro RKBA = official terrorist? Does anyone doubt that it will happen in the next Presidential 4 year term?

Organizers are reportedly planning armed protests slated to occur at 50 state capitols, as well as the U.S Capitol, in the days leading up to Inauguration Day, according to an internal FBI bulletin obtained by ABC News.

“Armed protests are being planned at all 50 state capitols from 16 January through at least 20 January, and at the US Capitol from 17 January through 20 January,” the bulletin read, according to ABC’s Aaron Katersky, who added that a group is “calling for ‘storming’ state, local, and federal government courthouses and administrative buildings in the event President Trump is removed prior to Inauguration Day.”

According to the bulletin, the FBI has “received information about an identified armed group intending to travel to Washington, DC on 16 January.” The group, per the bulletin, has reportedly warned that a “huge uprising” will occur if Congress attempts to remove President Trump through the 25th Amendment:
Nobody on the side of patriots is this organized, for damn sure. If people could make a coherent argument for vote fraud they would have done it in November.

I agree. I don't believe that this is being put together by any "right wing group". It sounds like a setup to bring a bunch of bubba's to DC and have a few antifa start something so that media can blame all gun owners.

A false flag so the democRATS can enact more gun control.

Fallout from Jan 6th
It has been widely reported that the FBI has arrested 300 individuals who entered the US Capitol on January 6th.

Many of the protesters who entered the US Capitol on January 6th were waved in by the Capitol Hill police.

And, now we know that the FBI is looking for 500 more individuals who entered the Capitol out of the 800 individuals who went inside.
Joshua James was arrested this week and is being charged in connection to the violent events of January 6th in Washington D.C.

Joshua James is an Iraq War veteran. He was wounded in a bomb blast in Iraq. And Joshua is being held by the FBI without bail.

SNIP

The FBI lured him out of his home in Alabama by pretending to be a customer needing a pressure washing.

Then an Army armored vehicle with a turret on top, 2 FBI vans, 6 FBI vehicles, 3 local police and sheriff’s vehicles pulled up and ransacked their home.
Angel’s husband, Retired Army Sgt. Kenneth Harrelson, was arrested last week and is currently being held in jail for attending the January 6th protests in Washington DC. The feds may move him to Washington DC this coming week for trial.

Kenneth is a retired Army Sergeant and US veteran. He suffers from serious physical maladies including high blood pressure.

The US government locked down the family bank account following the arrest. Angel lost her job.
