Public documents obtained by a Portland attorney reveal that Portland Public School staff, planned, executed and paid for what the media and the school district branded as a ‘student’ anti-Second Amendment protest last March 14th.
In response to a Public Records Act request, PPS has now released documents showing that the demonstrations were organized by PPS, and involved a massive dedication of school resources. From the School Board (which passed a resolution calling for a ban on the possession of all semi-automatic weapons) on down to the individual schools (which reprogrammed class bells to create a special protest period, so no one would have to be marked absent from class), the entire Administration organized itself to undermine the core of our Constitutional republic.

Fire every last one of them for abuse of public funds and abuse of their authority. Then sue every last one of them to recoup those funds.

The students don't like police officers either...
It’s now up to Portland city commissioners to approve the decision. The protesting students are asking commissioners to cut back on SROs in schools.

Lucas made that point clear in her speech, saying, "We as PPS students are extremely disappointed in the school board's actions and believe that police do not have a place in our schools."
What Utopian society do these kids live in?! Do they all ride their unicorns to school every morning?

Edit to add: this was January 2nd, this year.

Students from a half-dozen Portland Public Schools planned to walk out of class at 9 a.m. to make their voices heard. About a dozen and a half students showed up for the protest.
So, like, three per school? Way to stick it to the man kids. I would think that pretty much any given school policy will have more than three kids who think it sucks, and that's all you could muster?

And I believe this was January 2nd of last year, i.e. 13 months ago.

Here is another report of it and it was done just 30 days ago.

Here is a Harvard paper done on some of the many walkouts that Portland students have staged the past few years. Some of them were discouraged by the school to the point of having a lockdown to keep other protesting students out and their protesting students in concerning the Trump election.
