The article also said:
James Ginsburg said before the concert that his mother is walking a mile a day and meeting with her personal trainer twice a week.
There have been more sightings of Elvis and Sasquatch then there have been of her walking a mile a day. With everything the Demonrats have done, it wouldn't surprise me if they had someone posing as a double for Ruth Buzzy Ginsburg.

If an 85 year old woman, that is supposedly recovering from surgery, can walk a mile everyday then why isn't she in court? Answer: because she's either dead or in a coma.

If she's healthy enough to walk a mile a day and see her personal trainer twice a week then she ought to attend the SOTU.

RGB seems to have weighed in on this one:
The Supreme Court issued a temporary stay on Thursday night of a lower court order blocking a Louisiana law that would have required abortion doctors to have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital.

SNIP

Late Thursday, the Supreme Court granted that stay by a 5-4 vote. Chief Justice John Roberts sided with the liberal wing of the Court in that vote.

SNIP

Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote a dissent from granting the stay, joined by Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Neil Gorsuch.

“The law has not yet taken effect, so the case comes to us in the context of a pre-enforcement facial challenge,” he noted, explaining that there could always be a later challenge if necessary when the law went into effect.

“I would deny the stay without prejudice to the plaintiffs’ ability to bring a later as-applied complaint … at the conclusion of the 45-day regulatory transition period,” he continued.

This stay will last until the Court receives a petition for review and votes on it. If the Court agrees to take the case, the stay would also continue until the Court hands down a final decision.
5-4 seems like all hands were on deck for this one...oh, and Roberts breaking with his group, again.

No one in the media is camped out at Ginsburg’s house either. That’s another no-fly zone for the elite media. A news BLACKOUT.

“Are you crazy?” one WaPo staffer said regarding covering the national concern about Ginsburg’s absence. “That’s not something I would even pitch.”

But remember: You are a conspiracy theorist for even questioning where Ruth is or if she is incapacitated. Or worse. You are supposed to keep your mouth shut and not notice that the entire media conglomerate has been told to sit on a story. Or else.

A lovely bit of gaslighting from the New Yorker:
The more complex drama involves Clarence Thomas, who is seventy years old and the longest-tenured Associate Justice on the Court. With fifty-three Republicans now in the Senate (and no filibusters allowed on Supreme Court nominations), President Trump would have a free hand in choosing a dream candidate for his conservative base if Thomas were to retire this year.

Correct me if I am wrong but Justice Thomas is probably more pro-gun than any of us on this forum.

As I've said elsewhere, if you believe for a minute that Trump does not have people dedicated to the task of directly monitoring RBG's status and reporting any change to him, I submit you are delusional. We all know Trump wants to leave yet another fingerprint on the SCOTUS and would not hesitate to pronounce it to the world if she were in a coma or otherwise incapacitated, or had passed away. So yes, I think that those who believe she's already dead and it is being covered up are conspiracy theorists.

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will be at the court for a private conference on Friday, marking the first time that she has attended a conference in person since she underwent cancer surgery nearly two months ago.

The development comes after surgeons removed about half of Ginsburg's left lung in a Dec. 21 operation. The justice, who turns 86 next month, has appeared only briefly in public since her surgery, and until Friday the court had not provided any guidance about when she was expected to return.

The announcement was made in a brief email sent by court spokeswoman Patricia McCabe Estrada, who wrote that "Justice Ginsburg is attending conference today."

Ginsberg back on the bench, and writing opinions.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has just completed three weeks of radiation treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, the U.S. Supreme Court disclosed Friday.

The radiation therapy, conducted on an outpatient basis, began Aug. 5, shortly after a localized cancerous tumor was discovered on Ginsburg's pancreas. The treatment included the insertion of a stent in Ginsburg's bile duct, according to a statement issued by the court.

Doctors at Sloan Kettering said further tests showed no evidence of disease elsewhere in the body. The treatment comes just months after Ginsburg was operated on for lung cancer last December. The 86-year-old justice has been treated for cancer in various forms over the past 20 years.

"Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg today completed a three-week course of stereotactic ablative radiation therapy at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City," a statement from the Supreme Court read. "The focused radiation treatment began on August 5 and was administered on an outpatient basis to treat a tumor on her pancreas. The abnormality was first detected after a routine blood test in early July, and a biopsy performed on July 31 at Sloan Kettering confirmed a localized malignant tumor.

Dems are already making comments that a RBG death would result in tearing this country apart. I wonder who will accuse Trump's nominee of rape?

Progressives’ ghoulish glee over the death of an old man turned into barely constrained panic when, later that day, it was revealed that their heroine Ruth Bader Ginsberg was just treated for pancreatic cancer yet again. Their disgraceful joy at David Koch’s passing was yet another reminder of the harsh truth that leftists want you dead or enslaved. Koch’s sin was that he disagreed with liberals (though, in important ways, also with conservatives). For that, these cretins danced around like idiots celebrating his succumbing. And they’ll celebrate when you die too. Always believe people who tell you they hate you and want you dead.

Oh, and never disarm.

SNIP

Here’s a pro tip, liberal dummies. If you are going to normalize the hatred of political opponents and express open joy at their demise, the savvy play is to be the political faction that possesses and knows how to use AR-15s and not the one that agonizes over its pronouns. (Edited to add: BURN!)

SNIP

Liberals are disinterested in argument, and the Murder Turtle running the Senate gets this and won’t even play their game. This is about power. On an objective level, perhaps Justice Ginsburg should step down, but she has the power not to and therefore it’s silly to whine about her not doing it. Similarly, we have the power to shove a new conservative Supreme Court justice down the Dems’ throats, so it’s silly to argue with the libs about it (though our objective case for doing it is strong). After a short and dignified interregnum, once the impending RBG vacancy becomes actively vacant, Donald Trump should unashamedly use the power of the office he was elected to and nominate a replacement, and Moscow Mitch should start rushin’ toward confirming him – or her.

The fact is that soon we’re going to have six conservatives on SCOTUS, or actually, five-and-a-half if you count Justice Soft Serve Roberts.

And when this all goes down, the left will freak out in a festival of freaking outness unparalleled in American history. The Dem candidates will go nuts. Big Chief Warren will be on the warpath, Bernie will call for revolution, Harris will say whatever she thinks is useful, Biden will start talking about how JFK visited him in the White House, and Beto will continue to be a furry.

Some of Trump's remarks on our 2A rights worry me. Yet, you cannot argue with the effect that he is having on the judiciary. Here is a good video that puts that issue in proper perspective.
