The complaint did not confirm whether the intended robbery victim held a legally issued concealed-carry permit.
So, if he has a "permit", would he have been more justified in his self-defense?
If he didn't have a "permit", should he be jailed?

Regardless of the "permit" question, should the State gov't regulate that this man couldn't shoot back at these criminals who were openly threatening to take his life?

Remember that this story likely occurred in Wisconsin, a state that is rather hostile towards the RKBA.
