Hi from Mentor on the Lake

My daughter and I got our CCWs in April. Been lurking for a while and thought I would join OFCC and the forums. I've been "into" firearms since the '70s, mostly military stuff. That was back when you could pick up an M1 carbine for $100 at a gun show and an M16A2 was $2800! I even built and registered an M2 carbine back when it was legal. Anyway, with the world getting more dangerous every day I though it was time to get proactive in the defense of my self and my loved ones (my daughter...she can now take care of herself). You guys are doing a heck of a job promoting common sense CC laws and changing opinions for the better. I know my donations will be used effectively and I'm going to enjoy being a member!

Hey neighbor! I'm from Mayfield Village and Eastlake. Let me know when or where you go shooting and hopefully we can meet. I shoot at Sherwin's mainly, because it's local. I'd love to find someone to talk to about guns and conceal carry. I'm 48 and don't know many people my age.
