Post by fosterjamesw »

Hello all. My name is James and new to the forum. I do not have my CHL yet but I am preparing to take it in January. I have received alot of great advice from you all and appreciate all the help. I have been practicing my shooting stance with my handicap and feel comfortable and confident with what I have cone up with. Once again thank you and looking forward in becoming a more active member of the forum.

Welcome!

How have you adjusted your stance and what condition are you correcting? Maybe people can offer a perspective.

Both of my arms are fused from the wrist to the elbow. I am unable to turn hands palm up for supporting the gun. When I have some time I will post a pic that can better explain my issue. But like I have all my life I have found a way to do it comfortably but not like others. One hand shooting is good for my strong hand because it turns to a 9 o'clock position but my left turns to a max at 5 o'clock. If that makes any sense.

Find a good instructor/trainer who will work with you. You'll do fine.
